After a failed delivery last week, my complete Iris Wildthyme and The Avengers: The Lost Episodes collections arrived today. Guess who's got hours of CD ripping fun ahead of him? This essentially arrived in a week, but large orders/big boxes always do. I've had large orders shipped on a Friday arriving the next Monday! It's slightly annoying that these can arrive so quickly but I'm still waiting on some January items though

Well yesterday actually, but I got a nice letter from Big Finish. A receipt for Hour of the Cybermen. Out of Stock - To Follow. First CD purchase since early November, so it was awfully nice of them to send something in the post.
Still, I have the Vinyl of Horror of Fang Rock and Season 8 Blu Ray Collection as recent additions to what increasing looks like 'The Doctor Who Room'. I have in the past paid entrance to small provincial Museums with fewer exhibits....

Master! landed on my doormat.
Earlier than expected - if I'd known I'd have dressed for the occasion . . .

Yesterday I didn't receive my copy of Masterful that's now officially over 2 months since it was posted.. I did receive "Philip Hinchcliffe box sets #2 and #3. With a note saying that #1 is currently out of stock/unavailable and will be shipped shortly.. Received an email yesterday as well confirming my bundle package I bought (thank you BF twitter for keeping me informed!) that "Lady Christina vol 1" has been shipped, however "Jenny-The Doctor's Daughter" is currently out of stock/unavailable and will be shipped shortly.. So I currently have 3 pending incomplete orders LOLZ- ..

So, I finally received my copy of The Fourth Doctor Adventures: Series 10 - Volume 2 yesterday I still haven't got Volume 1 from January, but at least something arrived... I called my Dad on Monday and it turns out he'd received my copy of Colony of Fear (I was moving house Sept/Oct last year and had my stuff redirected to him in the meantime. Doesn't explain why he's getting stuff 3-4 months after I gave BF my new permanent address though. Speaking of which: ) This morning, I got a call from a random number. Turns out it was the local postie. As I said, I moved in October, having lived at my previous address for three years. Ordering 4-5 products a month from Big Finish, I used to get regular mail there. Anyway, it turns out that he had two parcels for me that were being sent to my old address. He'd worked out I didn't live there any more and had called me to make sure he could deliver them to the right address! I honestly have no idea how he got my number, but it's easily the best bit of customer service I've ever experienced The items were Torchwood: Drive and Stranded 2. Looking back through my dispatch e-mails, I still have a considerable number of items awaiting delivery (though heaven only knows where they're going to turn up!) : Torchwood: Coffee (sent Feb 2nd) Fourth Doctor Adventures: Series 10 - Volume 1 & The Diary of River Song: Series 8 (sent 4th Feb) Masterful (sent 5th Feb; incidentally, Gallifrey - The Time War: Series 4 was shipped on the same day and arrived more than a month ago) Doctor Who: The Blazing Hour (sent 11th Feb) Doctor Who: The End of the Beginning (sent 17th March) Doctor Who - The Lost Stories: Series 6 (sent 18th March) Normally, all of these products should have arrived by now. Even allowing for COVID delays, Stranded 2 is already here! Why am I still waiting for January releases?! The postal service is weird, man...

Torchwood: Coffee. The delivery address (my old address) had been scratched out and my current address written on, so my postie must be going out of his way to make sure all my mail is being delivered to the right address! I was surprised by the one-off occasion last week, but knowing he's actively keeping an eye out is incredibly generous of him

Quite a number of arrivals today! I got a call from my Dad this morning to say that he's just received my copy of The Blazing Hour, then both The Fourth Doctor Adventures: Series 10 - Volume 1 and The Diary of River Song: Series 8 were delivered directly to me (bonus: neither had been redirected from my old address). This means I've now got everything released pre-March except Masterful, which means things are almost back to normal in terms of deliveries
