Hopefully there are a lot of flashbacks to Angelique..... or what does Joe gave in store. Wink She's alive in the 90s (The Path Of Fate) so it wouldn't necessarily need to be flashbacks True but if my timing is correct. (Trace?) We should be in 1984 for the wedding at least. And in The Path of Fate there is a 5 year downtime for Angie... and of course by the end of that...she isn't the self sacrificing hero as in Bloodlust. We get our Angie-baby back! Bwahaha

Bwahaha Late '84, early '85 I figure. Tainted Love concluded around September 1984, about a year after the events of Bloodlust, and Amy and David would have revealed their relationship to the family after Tainted Love. It depends how quickly a wedding can be arranged in Collinsport.

True but if my timing is correct. (Trace?) We should be in 1984 for the wedding at least. That is correct. At LEAST 1984, because Hallie's story in Tainted Love brings us into late 1984 anyway. And Angelique begins her self-imposed exile in 1985.

It looks like we'll be having Quentin's wife, Leila, coming to Collinsport.
Lela's already in town...

Episode One's opening scene will open with the wedding in all it's hell, the rest of the series (or maybe up until episode seven?) will be told in flashback.

By the time it's released, they'll be divorced! I'm just being silly, of course. I can't even begin to imagine the complexity of scheduling such a massive project, what with potential cast members scattered far and wide. All I can say with some certainty is, that it'll be worth the wait (I see michaelhocking is now a deleted member of this forum. I'm sorry about that )

Anyone else wandering whats going on with this? No Pre-Order. No News updates in age Its now 30 Months since Bloodlust finished Big Finish probably announced the title to stop people asking about the next installment. Quite literally the most we have is the teaser at the end of And Red All Over where David proposes to Amy With the short story anthology readings I'd imagine part of the scheduling is to get actors into the studio to also record their Bloodline roles. Half an hour or so of material is likely half a day, three quarters of a day worth of recording. With the acclaim Bloodlust got you'd think pre-sales would be at least enough to get recording sessions started.

My main problem is, the more of the short story readings they release that are set after this miniseries that hasn't happened, the less impact the actual events will have, because we'll at least know the fallout of everything that happened, who survived, what relationships changed, who's not actually married, who's no longer in town, who now is in town, etc. That David proposing to Amy teaser really has lost all value since we now have an anthology story with Amy in Paris set after Bloodline where she's already moved on and found a new guy to take to bed.

Precisely my concern with that story. It's been said that we don't know how long after In a Broken Dream is after Bloodline and Dark Shadows couples tend to fall apart or meet sticky ends, but that's a 13 part mini-series that we now know will end sadly or will have a short-lived happy ending. That teaser in And Red All Over is almost two years old now. I respect that Big Finish need time and effort for the writers and actors to do their stuff, but maybe leaving the announcement until there was something solid to announce beyond the title and an estimated release date (which is now long overdue) would have been better.

Off the top of my head: Amy and the boys have moved out of the mansion, Amy's in Paris, visiting Liz and Roger, and moving on from David. Sabrina and Cyrus are running the Collinsport Inn, and Sabrina is a local schoolteacher now. Liz and Roger are still abroad, based in Paris at the moment. Willie and Jessica are not yet married, but will be soon. Jacquie is dating. Ed is dating. Angelique has set up shop in her cottage in the woods, isolating herself. Something happened with David. Status of Quentin, Barnabas, Julia, Hallie, and Maggie unknown.

Hallie is dead, but that hasn't stopped anyone before on Dark Shadows. Add Cody to the list of unknowns. Sabrina doesn't mention Amy, Harry or Tom in the story The Suitcase, so they can't be staying at the inn (their own place?). Julia is in some kind of notable physical condition at the end of Tainted Love, but we don't get specifics. Maggie I assume is still with Joe, blissfully out of the reach of the shadows of Collinsport.

She goes drinking with Amy, and they're trying to get Rhonda to join them, iirc. Unless I hallucinated that bit of the story. And right, Lela. We know Quentin has to be (back?) in town by the 90s for Path of Fate (I think that was the one), but they leave the status/members of "the family" vague in that one, so who knows.

My memory playing tricks on me! She does mention sitting on the docks with Amy, drinking wine out of coffee mugs. The official date given for The Path of Fate is 1995, so by that point Lela is away or out of the picture. Given Collinwood, neither would surprise me.

Path of Fate doesn't mention Quentin's marital status, and just has him referring to "[his] family", IIRC, so Lela could easily still be around in other audios set in the 90s.
