A fantastic Lost Story and one of my favourites from the range. Really wish this one had been originally used for the classic series as it is just so well done.
What did you all think?

I enjoyed it It was interesting to see the amount of harm {Spoiler} a Dalek had done to a society without it's weapons but purely with it's ideology

Loved it! Maybe it could have been a tv story back in 1983 instead, but I think it would have been different to how John Dorney adapted it.

I’m rather fond of this story.
I really like the central idea in this story that the Daleks are more than just killing machines, that there very presence can have a corrosive effect on the people around it.
This and Jubilee are excellent examples of it.

I remember buying this and even though there is a familiar looking mutant on the CD cover, was surprised to find out it was a Dalek story when I listened to it!
(But a damn good Dalek story it has to be said.)

See I think stories like this really show just how the Daleks have become a mainstay and endured for so long.
Now we might occasionally mourn about how there is a lack of originality when it comes to stories featuring the tin pepper pots (You could argue that even Terry Nation didn’t know what to do with them after a while) but personally I think when we actually explore just what the Daleks represent and their evil can spread like a wildfire well, we get some true gems like this one.

One of my favourite Lost Stories, in fact.
