As I journey through the early short trips, I always find something to say, good or bad. At least until now. Critical Mass is one of those rare, unfortunate stories that just didn't really do anything for me. I didn't like it well enough to applaud any individual aspects, nor dislike it sufficiently to condemn any aspects. It's just a thoroughly generic Doctor Who adventure. Perhaps the sheer quantity of stories I've consumed has set my standards too high... anyone else listen to it recently? What'd ya' think? Did this one engage any of y'all more than it did me?
The only thing I can really say is that I appreciated the bit at the end, with the Doctor granting the 'antagonist' a "moment of terror" after he saved the day--just one of those pleasant little hits of darkness that makes the 7th Doctor so much fun to see in action.

Yeah pretty much agree with the post above me. I mean sophie narrates it wonderfully, her seven is on point, but other than that its just generic and doesn’t really justify being a short trip, or even just a trip. Its fine i guess, heard much much worse but yeah, certainly the weakest of the set but it has been an extremely strong set
Now to wait till Christmas so i can get volume three for a quid, its always up there hahah
