Looks and sounds great. Feel like Derek Jacobi is going to make for a more assured Cole Hawling than the doddering and slightly decrepit Lionel Jeffries Cole Hawlings of radio past.

Interesting Response from Barnaby Edwards in terms of adapting the Sequels Regards mark687 Midnight Folk came first, it is a prequel not a sequel
I tried reading that a few years ago, couldn't get a handle on it. I believe that there are other books by Masefield that very loosely tie to these two, but aren't really linked.

It's a lovely trailer, but it doesn't half feel peculiar hearing that music - or even thinking about the Box of Delights in the middle of June. I do wonder if it'll do as well releasing now as it would if it went out later in the year. Maybe October would be late enough that people might buy it in anticipation of Christmas, but early enough for word of mouth and reviews to go round, and to not be competing too much with people budgeting for Christmas shopping.

Hmm. I admit I did not have a clue what this release was about. But after seeing the trailers, I made an effort to track down the blurbs and I can vaguely remember once watching something where miniaturized kids travel in a boat. As a kid. Long ago. I think I will check out the series with Troughton on YouTube. As it sounds, this might be indeed something I would be REALLY into. This sounds like something I would have adored as a kid. Then I can decide if I want to buy into the BF version.

With the amount of advertising Big Finish have been doing for this release, I’ll be very surprised if it doesn’t at least sell well.

It’s a bit odd. It does make me wonder whether they’re heavily promoting it and releasing it now because they have other festive themed releases in the pipeline for the Winter months.

The BF podcast was all about Christmas Torchwood, last week. It's very confusing.

The BF podcast was all about Christmas Torchwood, last week. It's very confusing. Well, in New Zealand they have something called "Christmas in July" and they even put up the town Christmas tree in the square...
