Basically he said it was a lost story for a reason because it wasn’t a very good story - that isn’t what he said word for word, but that was the gist of it. He was basically saying it wasn’t made originally for a reason, which is why he isn’t a fan of doing lost stories.
Probarly not the greatest thing to say especially promoting the product but i think the biggest selling point of the release is the recasts of Harry and Sarah

Maybe he's trying a bit of reverse psychology on us?

I am a fan of the Lost Stories range, I love it and hope BF do more as and if further scripts/storylines turn up. It's one of only three larger BF ranges I've heard all of, so far (along with 'Counter-Measures' and those incomparable investigators of the infernal, Jago & Litefoot )
When I came to BF after discovering 'The Light at the End', I was a bit floored by the vastness of their back catalogue and thought I'd start on familiar ground, with TV stories from the eras I knew and loved, stories which might have been back then and some which nearly were. And in all that long run of Lost Stories, I only found one 'dud' ('Mission to Magnus' in case you're wondering and even that was fun to hear Sil again!), loads of great stories and some absolute classics.
Perhaps they'd like to give me a job promoting the range for them?

The Elite, Paradise 5, Nightmare Country, the Foe from the Future and those are just the ones I list off the top of my head! Even their weakest scripts are usually quite interesting if only from a historical standpoint of what could have been.

As time goes on, it’d be great to pursue some of the Lost Stories of the post-2005 era. I think the range, extending into Philip Hinchcliffe Presents, has shown that we could have the “Lost Story” in various states of completion prior to being realised by Big Finish, so hopefully there’s some life on the range to come. I’d be interested to know the sales of the Lost Stories because number13 raises a great point; they’re so accessible in comparison to Big Finish’s back catalogue in the same way The Tenth Doctor Volume 1, Only the Monstrous and Classic Doctors, New Monsters are, albeit more traditional you could argue, given the origins of the LS. It’s a substantial range without the need to tie in with other Big Finish ranges to the point where you could collect only them and be a very happy fan.

Wasn’t no place of the volume 3 of 10DA a spiritual successor to a lost story called century house from 2008?

Four of the March releases will be in my sights for picking up sooner rather than later - The End of the Beginning (which I'm half wondering if it will be laying the groundwork for a bigger story due in just under..*checks notes*..two years and eight months time..🤔), Stranded 2, Return of the Cybermen (a new Sarah and Harry make their Big Finish debuts alongside the Fourth Doctor) and The Doomsday Contract.

I'm not getting anything. Just building up a healthy backlog that I can hopefully address with sales circa 2024-2033.

I will get the last of the Monthly range (curious what they do with it!), Stranded 2 (which sounds quite interesting!) and Master (for the simple reason I adore Chase Masterson).
