Meanwhile, The Valeyard had surprisingly warmed up to the idea dancing with his Clara and the two were in the midst of a rather saucy tango.

Sat on top of a nearby piano within the TARDIS, Panda looked around at the various guests. Despite its immense size, it was starting to get awfully crowded.
“You know, I’m no expert on temporal mechanics.” said Panda.
“You don’t say.” retorted Frobisher lightly tapping away at th keyboard.
“But surely having all these various incarnations of the Doctor in the TARDIS alongside the rest of us should cause some problems?”
Frobisher paused, thought about it for a while and then shrugged.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the universe, a planet promptly winked out of existence.
On Earth, in a perfectly ordinary graveyard, an energy wave suddenly ripples across the area. Without warning, a decomposed hand suddenly bursts up through one of the graves. Then another, then another..
And finally, in the distant past on Phaester Osiris, a young (yet to be a destroyer) Sutekh is suddenly confronted by his older self who steps through a portal which suddenly appears.

Nardole could not cope with any more of this nonsense, surely it could not get any worse.
“Everyone, I have an announcement to make!” Clara shouted.
Everyone turned to look at Clara.
“I’m pregnant with the Doctor’s baby.” Clara revealed.
Everyone was shocked including 12 who this was news to.
12 took Clara’s hand and went off to the side.
“Is this from when we-”12 began to ask eyebrows arched not sure what to think.
“Yes” Clara blushed .

This moment of innuendo was suddenly interrupted by the deafening sounds of the Cloister Bells.
And then immediately followed by several of the guests winking out of existence.
“Frobisher!” cried Panda, helpless to watch as his friend promptly vanished.
Only to then look around in horror, to see Iris’s hat fall softly to the ground. It’s owner having vanished as well.

Due to the strange time anomalies, Clara’s baby bump began to grow at an alarming rate. Clara screamed in pain her and the Doctor’s baby was really beginning to kick inside her.
12 was scared he wasn’t ready to be a father again but he knew he had to help his Clara deliver their child. It seemed like the baby was coming very soon too.
“Do you want me to stay with you?” 12 asked holding Clara’s hand.
“Yes, but first bring help. I think the baby is coming soon.” Clara said, wincing in pain and clutching her stomach.
“Of course, I have a duty of care for both of you” 12 said tears in his eyes. They had only just gotten married too...
........
Meanwhile, Galifrey had just gotten word of the Doctor’s marriage to Clara Oswald and their half human/ half Timelord child. The timelords were none too pleased, not to mention perplexed at how the Doctor and Clara had managed to reproduce without the use of looms.

It was all going rather well, yet.... Grandmother Paradox wasn't entirely satisified. Yes, the plan - and to be willed into existence in a blink of an eye, complete with plan, was impresive - was developing on track, with the Hybrid on its way and spacetime rupturring hither and thither - but her ally hadn't turned up. Surely the whole point of evil future selves is that they turn up together? And the Valeyard hardly counted. She tutted. Where had he got to? He'd better not ruin everything.
* * *
There weren't many things that Galvatron and Goldbug could agree on, but neither of them were especially keen to meet Death's Head again. When he sort of formed out of mist before them, during a bout of Transformer-vs-Transformer single combat, he was an unwelcome distraction.
"Where isssss Clara Ossswald?" he hissed.
He didn't seem awfully well. There was a lot more organic about his bio-mechanoid form than usual, which offended Galvatron's sensibilities, and there was a heady air of magic about him that made both Decepticon and Autobot itchy.
"There are no humans here!" roared Galvatron.
"No anybody here," Goldbug noted, gesturing at the wasteland that had developed about them as they fought.
"Then I sssshall look on," said Charnel - for it was he - and vanished once more.
"What was all that about?" asked Goldbug.
Galvatron simply hoisted his particle cannon, and fired.

Luckily the TARDIS fought back at the particle cannon with a protective shield. The Doctor and Clara’s unborn child already had strong psychic powers and had pleaded with the TARDIS to protect all of them.
Meanwhile, Clara sat trying desperately to calm herself and thought back to the strange night when she and the Doctor had gotten themselves into this at first wonderful then literally apocalyptic mess that had resulted in their marriage and her pregnancy.
Why did the Doctor have to sing THAT song?

The sixth Doctor, meanwhile, had ducked out of the wedding reception to take Jago and Fitz to the Bi-Al Foundation, for medical attention. Fitz's leg was put in plaster and he was given a pair of crutches, and told not to get tangled up in photography again. Professor Litefoot accompanied young Hal into the medical theatre to watch, with interest, his friend be restored to middle-age.
The Doctor was content to sit outside and wait. He was pleased to be joined by Time Lord controller Rodan, and less pleased to be joined by director of the Celestial Intervention Agency, Vansell. Vansell was unhappy that the entire universe was falling apart, and wanted to put the blame firmly on the Doctor's shoulders.
"It looks like that Grandmother Paradox has hijacked the TARDIS," said Rodan, who was montitoring events on a remote computer access. "See, she's trying to catch up with her ally, Charnel, but keeps missing him." The Doctor watched as two large robots fired shots at each other. Charnel appeared in the midst, exchanged words with both, and then disappeared, only to be immediately replaced with the TARDIS, which took a full blast from the purple robot's cannon.
"There's no choice," Vansell insisted, "the only way to undo what's happening - what's being done by Miss Oswald's future self - is to kill her younger self, and regrettably your twelfth incarnation as well."
"There must be another way!" protested the Doctor.
"This is your contact," Vansell said into a microphone. "You must kill the Doctor and Clara now! Mr Dogbolter demands it!"
"Dogbolter?"
"A ruse," Vansell explained, "I don't want my agent tracing things back to me. He is... often unreliable."
A reply came back over Vansell's earpiece. "UNABLE TO COMPLY. LEGAL TROUBLE, YES?"
"So much for that," said the Doctor with satisfaction.
"He's right, though," sighed Fitz. "I know Faction Paradox... well, far too closely than I like to remember. The reason they so terrify a person is because they ARE that person, an appalling future possibility. Kill yourself, and you prevent them ever from haivng existed."
"But there must be an alternative!" the Doctor demanded.
"Well, actually.." Fitz said conspiratorily. "I have understood correctly that it's the baby you need to stop, right?"
"The Hybrid, yes," Vansell confirmed. "It combines the power of a Time Lord and an Amaranth in a single mind. Grandmother Paradox must not get her hands on it. We must stop it from ever existing."
"And this is a hospital," Fitz continued.
The penny dropped. The Doctor was horrified. "You want... you think I should get the snip?!"

In the TARDIS, Panda looked around the now mostly empty room. Out of all the party guests, he was the only left.
“Iris? Frobisher?” he called out desperately. He picked up Iris’s hat and held it close to him.
The Doctor approached him.
“They were my friends.” said Panda softly. “My only friends.”
He laid a hand on the bear’s shoulder.
“AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!” turned around Panda suddenly, tears streaming down his eyes that he didn’t even know he could shed. “ITS BOTH YOUR FAULT.”
The Doctor went to say something but was interrupted by the now furious bear.
“SAVE IT. AND IF I SO MUCH AS HEAR ANOTHER SONG FROM YOUR LIPS, I’LL PUNCH YOU RIGHT ON THE HOOTER.”
The Doctor closed his mouth as Panda threw the hat onto the ground and stormed off into the TARDIS. The Doctor called out to him, but it was too late. He was gone.

There had to be another way surely thought the Sixth Doctor, he may not have cared about that ,ahem, particular ability of his loins but who was he to have the authority to stop the life of his future incarnation’s child. It was not his place after all and if his future self and Miss Oswald wanted the child then he should respect that. Then it came to him! If after the hybrid’s birth, all three of them (his twelfth incarnation, Clara, the child) were all chameleon arched and turned fully human then they wouldn’t have to worry about the hybrid. They would need to placed somewhere safe where they wouldn’t figure out their former identities but it could work!

“I must warn you Doctor” said Vansell noticing the look on his face. “That drastic steps will have to be taken if you will insist on defying our orders. This is far bigger than the both of us and you know it.”
He gestured to several of the aliens who were congregating about and, at a nod of Vansell’s head pulled out stasers and aimed it at the Doctor.
“CIA Agents, I take it Vansell?” muttered the Doctor.
“Something like that.” replied Vansell. “Oh, and before you get any funny ideas of running off in that relic of yours we’ve disabled it completely.”
He smirked.
“Impounded you might say, to use an Earth term.”

The Doctor glared at Fitz. "You really are a bad-luck sink, aren't you?" He turned to Vansell, and said sarcastically, "perhaps we could get him to change sides, join the Faction?"
He looked from Vansell's face, to Rodan's, to the aliens', to Fitz's.
"Something I said?" he asked.

The Sixth Doctor then explained to the group his plan to use the chameleon arch on his future incarnation, Clara, and the child after they were born and how turning the family human should reverse the damage done to the universe.

"Er..." Rodan was watching events on her computer. "I think it all may be a bit academic."
The twelfth Doctor was holding his trusty sonic screwdriver aloft. This, this would be the solution to all the problems!
The heavily pregnant Clara, swollen with her infant conceived aboard the TARDIS, suddenly collapsed into a tide of grey goo.
"Oh no," muttered 12. "Not again."

Panda stormed back into the console room and starting wrenching the fast return switch, again and again. The TARDIS rolled back through all its recent destinations, returning at last to the courtroom.
Panda pulled at the door control, and strode outside. He located the stairs, and ran up, two at a time. He had a large book under his arm, and when he found Death's Head and the others, he slammed it onto a table.
"I want to hire you," he said coldly. "Both of you. All of you."
"SINGLE CONTRACT, YES?" Death's Head checked. "NO SETTING US AGAINST EACH OTHER?"
"I don't want anybody killed," Panda replied, not altogether truthfully. "I want to go here."
"NOT A BUS SERVICE," muttered Death's Head.
He opened the book, and pointed at a page.
"Maruthea?" asked Tuck, confused. "Why there?"
"BEEN THERE," Death's Head conceded.
"That's where all the space/time flotsam ends up," Panda said grimly. "Some friends of mine disappeared. If they turn up anywhere, it's going to be here."
"I suppose we could drop you off, for a consideration," mused Death's Head II..
"Maruthea?" asked Spratt. "Is that that permanent party place you told me about?"
"Sounds like two reasons to go, then," replied Panda.

Madam Kovarian was knocked out by none other than River Song!
“ I thought you hated me?” Clara shocked asked her rescuer.
“I may not like you but that still doesn’t mean I want your child to go through what I did.” River responded matter of factly.

The TARDIS materialised behind them; in fact, two TARDISes. The twelfth Doctor stepped out of one, and Vansell out of the other.
Vansell looked uncomfortable.
"Oh, good," he said woodenly, "you're all here. I am pleased to inform you that your sixth incarnation has solved your predicament. A chameleon arch will be utilised to transform you from Time Lord and temporally-fractured human into an ordinary human married couple. This is only a temporary solution, of course, since Miss Clara is a fixed point in time, but it should allow you to wait out the alternate possibilities until the Grandmother Paradox fades away. You will even be able to age naturally over the course of your.... retirement."
"That's very gracious of you, Vansell, to come all this way and help us out like that," said the Doctor. "Not like you at all."
Vansell shifted. Clara observed that he appeared to have a knife to his throat.
"He had forgotten that I had also travelled to the Bi-Al Foundation," came Leela's voice from behind him.
"Shall we go?" Vansell asked, wanting all this over as quickly as possible. "The Bi-Al Foundation in the immediate term, for the care of your child."
"I think we should call it 'Rainbow'," mused 12, as he and Clara followed Vansell into 12's TARDIS.
"That's a silly name," protested Clara.
River watched them leave. As the doors closed, she could hear Clara profess a preference for the name 'Eve', if it was a girl.
"Of course it will be a girl," River said firmly.
"Mine wasn't," noted Leela. "But it will be a good life."
And it was.

but that is a story for another time.
For now let them be happy.
