I mean Cybermen don’t exactly have a gender. That’s rather the point isn’t it? Eradicating identity to become another faceless machine devoid of humanity? Unless they did a Borg Queen approach and had a female Cyber Queen/Planner or something. Wait a sec, didn’t we already have that in The Next Doctor?

Well... there was a Cyberwoman in a Torchwood episode.

Fun to see the RT squeezing an "article" out of a DWM quote. For context:
So far, the signs indicate that Chris just wants to do his own thing with the Ninth Doctor and take the character forward. He's not steeped in the lore and his interviews suggest that he's respectful of it without feeling bound by it. BF has plenty of talented writers that can give him that Cyberwoman story. As well as his Salford one.

I did like the “lone Cyberman” (was that it’s title/name) that Chris Chibnal, gave in the last tv series.
An issue I have with the Cybermen is a lack of character...they can sometimes seem a bit boring especially on audio.
Big finish have found a way of giving the Daleks some personality over time and even do it with the clone race of Sontarans.
I think they should take inspiration from the Borg Queen and give us the Cybernatrix.

Its Almost Time 4 days to go Regards mark687 So the 13th May rumour was true. Why don't BF just tell us the release dates?

They used to way back when, I believe, but they kept on missing a lot of them because of delays with CD pressings and decided to stop specifying exact days.

Just noticed - the runtime for the CD/download edition is listed on the website as 214 minutes. For the vinyl, it's 148 minutes. This means 50-minute episodes and over an hour of behind-the-scenes extras.

One of the many things I loved about Dalek Empire was the notion of the Mentor (a female leader of the alternate Universe Daleks). It was such a welcome change in dynamic and it would be great fantastic (!) to explore something similar for the Cybermen.

Seems to me he obvious solution would be to announce release dates early and simply keep a second date for "ship date" to Mark whenever the CDs are ready to ship. This whole anxiety game they make us play ain't a whole lotta fun. Just noticed - the runtime for the CD/download edition is listed on the website as 214 minutes. For the vinyl, it's 148 minutes. This means 50-minute episodes and over an hour of behind-the-scenes extras. That's about the normal length, right? I tend to be pretty ambivalent about the BTS tracks (usually only listen to 'em if I really liked the story) but I suspect the 9DAs will generate the same feelings for me as, well, pretty much anything with Colin Baker: I'll listen to everything just to hear more from Chris Eccleston. Some folks are just fun to listen to, no matter what they're saying. (Lisa Bowerman and David Warner are also in that category.)
