Sounds great, & very interesting to hear this from Camilla Beeput “It's just such a lovely environment you feel very safe working with someone like Chris who’s such a consummate professional – and that’s what it’s all about!”.

And with one single news piece, Twitter has once again imploded with excitement.
Have no idea what the following three boxsets will entail but the first boxset sounds very promising. I do wonder whether Nova will be a temporary companion or whether in fact she’ll carry on through the remaining boxsets.

The covers have got those big, bright vibrant colours and dominating photo of the Doctor that made the “vanilla” DVD releases of Series 1 so eye catching and iconic. Sphere of Freedom even has the TARDIS console room detailing that the later releases had. I just had a proper throwback looking at these; more so when I see the era authentic logo once the set is released!

I really like the art work on this release. It *feels* like the RTD era, bold, colorful, and exciting.

Also, the premise is really interesting. No returning monsters/villains is a massive bonus for me. I feel like Briggs has been planning this for a while, and I'm so excited to hear this. This and Dalek Universe are genuinely the most excited I've ever been for Doctor Who.

Also, just noticed - the runtime on the CD/download version is 200 minutes rather than the usual 240. On the vinyl edition (which omits BTS), the runtime is 140 minutes, rather than the usual 180. This means each story will be around 45 minutes, rather than an hour. This only excites me more.

For anybody that wants a one stop shop, here are the story details:
1.1 Sphere of Freedom
On the Sphere of Freedom, the Doctor is about to shut down an evil Immersive Games business empire. He’s assisted by a valiant galley chef called Nova. But his plan spectacularly fails... And who exactly is Audrey?
1.2 Cataclysm
Nova is dislocated in time while the Time Eddies are out of control. Meanwhile, the Doctor is about to face the end of the universe. Or is that just the Battle of Waterloo?
1.3 Food Fight
The TARDIS is starting to get a little crowded! Audrey finds herself haunted by a ghostly Doctor.
Very excited!

So are we thinking these are definitely set before 'Rose', or during some random offscreen gap in Series 1 (i.e The Doctor had dropped Rose off temporarily to visit her mum or something)?
I'm thinking the former myself.
I'll be getting the downloads so no vinyl for me, but I do love the covers.
Though I'm wondering whether there's more or less promo shots of Eccleston than McGann...I'm sure I've seen all three of the photos used on the covers before...
Can't quite believe Eccleston's return is so nearly here...

There were of course appearances in Earth history that 9th Doc took part in that Rose has no knowledge of but Clive has evidence of. www.whoisdoctorwho.co.uk/visualdata.shtml

There are more than McGann, but a lot of them are with Rose and even more were never approved to begin with. Unfortunately, as Chris only did the one series, it does mean we’re limited, particularly in stories without Rose. We’ve seen how clever Big Finish artists can be, especially in recent years, so I’m sure we’ll see some different looks and poses in the coming sets.
