Watching The Muppet Show I was reminded of all the more obscure muppets that I love! I thought it would be fun if we said who are favorite more obscure Muppets! In addition to muppets from The Muppet show and the Muppet movies you can include muppets from Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Labryinth, Dark Crystal, etc.
Mine: Sweatums: Originally featured in Tales from Muppetland. He just has that vibe of a big scary looking monster hiding a heart of gold! I just want to give him a hug!
The Helping Hands from Labryinth: They are just the creepiest and most surreal thing ever!
The Skeksis from Dark Crystal: I love their designs and how over the top they are as antagonists!
The Bag Lady from Labryinth: I always thought she was so creepy in her scene with Sara!
Walter from the Muppets: Only in the one movie I thought he had an interesting arch, especially when he saw himself as a human in the song “Man or a Muppet”.
Who are your favorite underrated Muppets?

Okay I don't know how obscure/underrated all the Fraggle Rock characters are, but Sprocket, the Doozers and Uncle Travelling Matt are all fantastic.

Okay I don't know how obscure/underrated all the Fraggle Rock characters are, but Sprocket, the Doozers and Uncle Travelling Matt are all fantastic. I haven’t seen too much fraggle rock, who are they? Doozers were little green miner guys, who looked like peas wearing hard hats and were much smaller than the main Fraggles. They're pretty much just cute things, the kind I'd buy one or two of for a knick knack shelf. Uncle Travelling Matt was an explorer Fraggle who sent back messages from "outer space" which was just our world - things like him trying to converse with a strange lifeform that's actually a parking meter. Kid Me loved that, Adult Me completely agrees. (Also his name's a pun on the Travelling Matte effect they used to put Matt into footage for the segments.) And Sprocket was the Professor's dog - just a big floppy scruffy puppet dog with expressive eyes who liked to chase the Fraggles whenever they came out into the workshop.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Floyd, Zoot and Janis. Doctor Teeth and Animal are the ones that everyone remembers from the Electric Mayhem but it was these three that kept the band grounded and ensured that they were more than just drums and keyboards.

Much love for Pilot and Rygel from Farscape, which was done as a co-production with the Jim Henson Company. Bit of a stretch for Muppets, I know, but I get that warm "family photo album" feeling whenever I see something from the show. They left quite an impact. I'd say the Company's designs for the series set the bar for depictions of compelling non-human aliens in live-action television, for me.

Lou Zealand; I always enjoyed the way he would politely address Kermit as "Mr The Frog".
Also, having rewatched most of the orignial series in the last year or so, great shame that they sidelined Nigel, he was a great character. There's one episode where the Electric Mayhem go on strike, and the regular closing sequence is replaced with Rowlf playing the theme on his piano, conducted by Nigel who cries "play, hound, play!"

Thank you: I haven’t watched the series for a few years and I’d forgotten his name.
