So I just noticed Jacqueline Rayner is the script editor for this set, very nice indeed. She is one of my favorite writers for Big Finish.
It would be lovely if she wrote one of the stories in the box too. In fact I am just hoping to see a new story from her in general.

Is that the War Doctors sonic screwdriver in the cover picture??? Afraid not. That looks like his sonic screwdriver from The War Games. Still, that looks like an amazing cover.

Nice cover! It's a bit grab-bag, but given the nature of the boxset, I suppose that's unavoidable. The use of the second-Doctor's sonic is particularly striking. However, did no one think, when approving the cover, doesn't that picture of Victoria look familiar? We get no Victoria stories for three years, then two come along, released less than a year apart, both using near-identical shots of her! Heck, this is only her fifth Big Finish release (and the fourth set during her travels with the Doctor)!

On-lime? You spilt your drink of lemon and lime over it? I thought the link smelt a bit lemony.

Nice. The trailer was funny, but I would have preferred something a bit more substantial. I am a little disappointed by the cast list. As much as I like Fraser Hines, I really don't feel that he needs to be in every story. Some of the best CC's have been when the companion plays off the villain or an ally rather than another companion. Also, not announcement yet on the future of the Companion Chronicles. I'm getting a little nervous, although they could just be holding off on that. Also, it seems odd to me that none of the usual players are in the writer's list. It's nice to get some new players, but I would have liked an Ian Potter story in there and it's surprising to me that fan favorite Simon Guerrier isn't in there at all.

I love the fact that new writers are being used like this, I have to be honest. I love Simon Guerrier (hopefully he's busy on other BF projects) and many of the other more established writers, but with BF constantly releasing more and more products, a wider pool of talent is welcome. I'm looking forward to everything about this release.

I'm also concerned about the Companion Chronicles as a range and don't want it seen by Big Finish as a dumping ground, but I guess we'll see in the coming months if they announce a future for the CC's.

As much as I like Fraser as the Doctor, perhaps a story without Jamie would have been good. Four slots, with four TARDIS dynamics after all....

Well my only minor disappointment is its not two stories with the series 4 crew (Jamie, Polly, & Ben) . I always want more of series 4 since so little of it exists. But as a 2nd Doctor fan I am very much looking forward to this and I am excited to see what new writers can bring to the table. Also loving Jacqueline Rayner as script editor. Hoping to see a new story from her soon but this is a nice start.
As for Jamie being in every story well they already said this box would focus on Jamie since he's such an important part of the 2nd Doctor era.

I'm a little surprised they didn't have a story with just The Doctor & Jamie, which would have given each entry a different TARDIS Team. I feel they go back to the Season 6 well a little too often, and would have liked to see them change it up a little more.
Other than that, looks great!

Wouldn't that have been just basically Frazer talking to himself for an hour? I understand he's on record that it's quite hard to do both roles, so they'll always want to make sure plenty of the lines go to other crewmembers.

Other CCs like Helicon Prime or The Jigsaw War show that it's perfectly possible to have just The Doctor and Jamie plus supporting cast without it devolving into Frazer talking to himself in different voices for an hour.
