Wow, a chocka and expensive month! All of the Doctor Who releases.
The First Doctor Adventures is an inoffensive range, but I find the one sci-fi and one historical format quite comforting and I like David Bradley’s portrayal, though think he could move beyond this cast.
I adore Rory, he’s one of my favourite companions and the write up for The Lone Centurion sounds like a lot of fun. I wasn’t sold on Arthur in the trailer, but context is everything.
Dalek Universe had me at more Tenth Doctor, and with David Tennant no less. I’ll be opting for the CD releases for this series, but I’m excited at the prospect of a brand new series for Ten and at a specific point of his life. I hope it grows past the scant information we’ve been given so far, which is little more than returning elements, and I’m sure it will.
The Dalek Protocol I’m getting as part of the Dalek Universe bundle, which made it about four quid. I’m not terribly excited for it at the moment, but sure I will be nearer the time.
And finally we will be able to listen to Echoes of Extinction. Everything surrounding this release has been farcical, but I’ve loved Time Lord Victorious and am especially looking forward to hearing the epilogue of the saga for the Tenth Doctor.

Hang on, 'surprise release'?

Definitely the fifth volume of the First Doctor Adventures. They might not be the best stories Big Finish have to offer but I greatly enjoyed the previous boxsets.

Hang on, 'surprise release'? I dunno what it means either, but I think mark687 has about made it into a tradition, lol. Couldn't hurt any to say, "Hey Big Finish, you if surprise us, we'll buy that too" right? Our distinguished guests from Big Finish can go back and report that the natives of the Divergent Universe are restless and demand a surprise. :-)

I'm getting all the DW items except the vinyl. Pretty sure I'm most looking forward to the Dalek Universe items. I have a feeling the series is going to be pretty good and 4th Doctor releases are always something I'm excited about so thrilled to get a bonus of Tom starting it off. Also Echoes of Extinction, I've been enjoying that series quite a bit so far.

Dalek Universe and the TLV release. However, I am not sure I am excited for any of them... TLV was a bit underwhelming and I am a bit tired of Daleks to be honest. Might get other things if people are giving some positive feedback, I will have to see.

Dalek Universe is exciting, but it's sad to see a month without a Main Range or Short Trip release.
In fact, this is the first month without either Peter, Colin or Sylvester since... well, June 2020 and the Lovecraft delay I guess. But before that, July 2009!
(In any case, the last two months in a row without one of those three would have been during the Divergent Universe arc! So unless Big Finish has something up their sleeves for May...)

Dalek Universe is exciting, but it's sad to see a month without a Main Range or Short Trip release. Not just sad, it's actually weird having no Main Range story to look forward to!

Most Anticipated: another month and more Tom, again! The Dalek Protocol I'm not the biggest fan of 'Death to the Daleks' but that's only because of Nick Briggs and @stevo being ahead of me because I am a very big fan of it - was my very first Who VHS purchase, which says it all! So of course this is my 'most anticipated'.
Also anticipating the 'First Doctor Adventures' (especially the historical) and one last twirl of the brolly (as far as we know) for 'The Avengers'. (And of course the MR story 'The Range That Time Would Not Forget' )

The Lone Centurion - First 15 minutes in the podcast was really promising. It looks like it's going to be quite a unique release. The Dalek Protocol - Briggs writing something he's invested in is always good. Dalek Universe 1 - A Dalek boxset without the Daleks! I'm really hoping this takes the Tenth Doctor somewhere interesting, and that it sets up an interesting arc for the Daleks as well over the second and third sets.

Echoes of Extinction - finally the end of TLV.
Might give Dalek Universe 1 a go depending on reviews. A full series of Tennant is tempting in itself but the concept hasn’t really caught my attention yet.

Looking forward to The Avengers The Comic Strip Adaptations Vol 5 this month. All Big Finish's Avengers releases have been great. Can't wait to hear Linda Thorson in this one.
Sadly I've just released that with The Prisoner range ending and no news on any future Avengers, Callan, Adam Adamant or Dark Shadows releases (unless I've missed any announcements), this will be the first time in around 8 years that I'll have no pre-orders placed with Big Finish 🙁
