Thank you Tony for the information.
I find it interesting that they actually said that subscriptions to the monthly range had reduced. I have been a long term subscriber, but have made the decision not to renew my subscription. So it sounds like I am not alone in doing that.
Oh and thank you also for pointing me in the direction of this new forum!

So it sounds like I am not alone in doing that. You're not! My Main Range subscription lapsed earlier in the year and the combination of a run of average stories, plus plenty of other interesting BF stuff to buy, on limited funds, has meant that I haven't bothered renewing my subscription. That doesn't mean that it won't get renewed at some stage, but BF are currently producing more stuff than my wallet can handle!

I think it a smart idea for them to switch to Doctor subscriptions. I think that will definitely be more attractive to new buyers.

With only one trilogy for each Doctor each year I do wonder how a specific Doctor subscription would work?
Currently they have bundles for the various Doctors which works as a way to catchup, but I can not see it as a format for an on going subscription.
Do you think they might consider releasing a special/box set release for each Doctor every year? For example they could have packaged the three Sixth Doctor monthly range releases with his Last Adventure special edition. But would they really want to comit themselves to doing extra releases for those three Doctors every year!?
I think that the most likely option would be to offer a six release specific Doctor subscription that would cover two years worth of their trilogies. But then how would they cover the multi-Doctor subscription and the one off four episode release??
I guess they could make a separate Special Trilogy subscription and then that would effectively make the annual one off release a special Monthly Range subscriber special! but still available to all as a one off full price purchase.

Oh, I hope they don't totally discontinue Main Range subs. I like getting those subs.

They wouldn't. They make a lot of money up front from those subs.
