How very very sad. I remember loving her performance in Vampires of Venice; she had some great scenes opposite Matt Smith, and I recalled how good she was a few years earlier in ITV's re-imagining of Frankenstein. I didn't realise she had quite such a prolific career. RIP, Helen.

Please can someone correct the thread title to reflect her actual surname. RIP Helen McCrory. Sorted, but the tone isn't necessary. There are polite ways to ask over a simple mistake that I made as I didn't have a chance to double check before.
