Nothing for me the last two days. I already own what's being offered.

It's a good variety of ranges being represented so far. Five more days, and I can't really predict what will come up next! Combined with the Humble Bundle, it's a good way to try out the different ranges.

I agree, as usual, the holiday promotion has a lot of titles good for the casual BF buyer. Not for the hardcore fans like many of us (me included) who already have hundreds of titles. The only one so far that I didn't have was the Pathfinder Legends one, something I wasn't really that interested in. I passed on that one... but if they do what they have in the past and put them all up again on the last day for discount, I may go for it then, as there are very few BF titles that I didn't like listening to.

And I don't have it. Considering it's normally about £15 on download it really is a no brainier

I don't have RISE OF THE RUNELORDS: BURNT OFFERINGS, but I have subscribed to MUMMY'S MASK and on the strength of the two releases so far I know that I will be buying the first series on CD. if you do get the opportunity I would recommend it. Unfortunately neither Paizo or Big Finish seem to promote this much, so I am glad they have put it in the 12 Days of Big Finish-mas.

I admit, I passed over the Pathfinder sale as I wasn't sure I'd be into it; I decided afterwards that if there's a day thirteen wherein they repeat the sales (like prior years) I'd go for it. Which is a bit of a habit with me; I pass over sales on ranges I don't know, and end up regretting it later when I discover how much it was worth it! Still, I am impressed with the variety in this year's Christmas sale! Only four Doctor Who sales so far; I like the stronger focus on other ranges!

Oh, wow! I've never even though to give this series a consideration. I knew it was a book series, but I didn't even know there was an audio story to go with it. That said, it is Nev Fountain, who's never let met down, so I'll have to give it a try... Egads, now I really want to know what tomorrow will bring!

I would have missed that. And this audio is based on Nev's own work too.

Still rooting for Charley. They don't usually do box-sets on this sale so don't count on it.

Thank you for pointing this out! I bought The Axeman Cometh and look forward to listening to both.

What can somebody completely new to both this character and writer [gasp, I know] expect? It sounds like a comedy, which I would enjoy, but what else?

It's very much a comedy and breaks the 4th wall, getting quite meta later on. You don't need to be familiar with any of the books. It's - and this is quite a cliche but its apt here - a bit Douglas Adams. Nev's a very funny writer who I've enjoyed since Dead Ringers years and years ago.

Still rooting for Charley. They don't usually do box-sets on this sale so don't count on it. They did the first story from the first box set of Liberator Chronicles last year, but Blake's 7 has been covered already this year.
