I couldn't see a thread dedicated to this event. Is anyone going?
Here is a related interview with Jo Martin the 14th Doctor.

Not exactly my cup of tea but I hope whoever is planning to go to it enjoys it.

The bit I don't understand about it is how people are happy to pay to go and see it then they come out and they realise they've missed 75% off it. I don't know about you but I haven't got £50 to spare, never mind another £50 because I didn't get what I paid for first time.

Due to the nature of immersive theatre it is not possible to see everything but all attendees get a 2 hour 15min experience. So its not about not getting what you paid for with a show like this just that different audiences will have different experiences. Not really the same tbh.

More River is always good and it’s great to see Alex physically reprising the role again. I’m assuming this is the yet to be added segment that Daniel Dingsdale teased, presumably a replacement for the Jack scene, to be honest.

My dream for this is that - because it's a multi-path story - at the end of the run, they film it to be released as an interactive feature, like Black Mirror's Bandersnatch.

A friend and I were saying the same thing earlier. We’re planning on going next year, but it’d be great to have it preserved in some way, not only to look back on, but to see the other paths. I still hope Doctor Who Live: The Monsters Are Coming will get a release some day. Perhaps when The Collection BluRays inevitably cover the post-2005 series.

I didn't post but I went to see it when it first opened back at the beginning of June. It was a lot of fun, but it seemed to need some of the kinks smoothed out. And Alex Kingston hadn't recorded her bit for it yet. I would love to go back again and see how it changes from when I saw it.
And yes, if you've never done any immersive theater, you should give it a shot. It's pretty fun.
