Glad Series 3 is confirmed, though a little disappointed that this series has seemingly now moved to the three stories per set format (and the pre-order price hasn’t changed to reflect that reduction in content). I’ll be waiting for story details anyway.

I Really hope its Graeme Garden unlikely as it would be Be good if it was Graeme Garden. Maybe they’ve done a recast of the Butterworth Monk and this story explains that Missy and his future self were the ones who repaired his TARDIS and rescued him from his imprisonment in 1066?

Why does it cost as much as the 4-discs box sets when there are only 3 this time around ?

It’s nice to have another series confirmed and coming so soon after the announcement. I think the inclusion of the Monk was inevitable given the reception to their two stories together and the way the second set ended. I’m expecting this will pick up on those events, rather than Series 2 having a time skip and not picking up on the cliffhanger of Series 1.
Disappointed that they’ve dropped a story, with no reflection in the price. I thought Series 2 was a letdown, so hope that this is a return to form and Missy rightly dominates.

Hmm. The previous 2 were listed under Special Releases. This one is under Audiobooks. I do hope not. I want a full-cast audio drama.

i guess it takes three releases to finally get a separate page

As cool as Graeme Garden would be, spoilers for a recent release: Big Finish has a new Monk: Gemma Whalen, who can't show up with any Doctor prior to David Tennant. So if they want her to return, their best bet is non-Doctor stories...

In DU1, the Nun says how she has no idea if her chronology and how she has became something of a paradox. Specifically she days “[she] keeps erasing bits of [her] own past” and her lifes always in a flux. I think its left inemtionally vague, as well as the doctors reaction not being that surprised to give wiggle room to have the nun fight previous incarnations and it not really matter because shes something of a paradox and so any meeting she has can just be said was overwritten later on. On a meta level, i got the impression that was John Dorney telling us that shes going to show up a lot and so don’t worry about the continuity. Obviously we’ll soon see but i wouldn’t be surprised if shes facing at least one, maybe two doctors very soon

Why does it cost as much as the 4-discs box sets when there are only 3 this time around ? Yeah it's the same with next year's Tenth Doctor Classic Companions. It might be due to the actors involved - or maybe these sets won't go up in price after the pre-order phase.

'Your money or your life! Thank you.' *zap* 'Actually that was and not or. Never mind it's all Boolean - and/not/or see what I did there? - so I'm good with it anyway.'

The reason why this is higher priced than the last two box sets probably has got to do with the fact that Rufus Hound will act as a co-protagonist along with Gomez, unlike the previous two, where he was a recurring character. Not sure I'll be buying it though, the first box set was really strong, but the second not so much, although it was still quite enjoyable.

Blu-rays don't very in prize dependent on the cast of the film.

I could be mistaken of course, this is a mere supposition.

If that’s the case then I’m very surprised The Eminence doesn’t have its own page.

'Jago & Litefoot' was always a more expensive range too. (And worth every single penny, twice over at least! ) As were the 4DAs up to and including Series 6, also the 8DAs. Not all ranges have ever been equal, if we take the old MR as the pricing standard.
