GG in one, RH in another and SPOILER in the third.

I don’t know who set Big Finish the riddle - how is Missy like a Mars Bar?
And then Big Finish feeling like they had to response with…the same price, but now 25% less for your money!
If is wasn’t for the fact that all the stories have the Rufus Hound’s Monk in them, who works so well with Missy in the previous stories, and with the possibility of the Spoiler Monk in the last set I would be hesitant about preordering.
As it is they will get my money and I will get less for my money….i just hope the quality is still there unlike Cadbury's.

As cool as Graeme Garden would be, spoilers for a recent release: Big Finish has a new Monk: Gemma Whalen, who can't show up with any Doctor prior to David Tennant. So if they want her to return, their best bet is non-Doctor stories... You think correctly... |

Pedantic of me, but MISSY Missy and the Monk looks clunky on the cover. They should’ve had the MISSY logo as is, with “and the Monk” underneath. It reads better and would suit the character; star of the show!

This looks good, haven’t picked up volume 2 yet though and it doesn’t really interest that much story wise so i hope i’ll be able to skip it and get the general gist of whats happening in this series, heres hoping

If that's the case, the Monk really has tangled their own timeline, haven't they?! I think thats kinda what they were going with in her first appearance and will probably elaborate in this set, i think they are going to make her this paradoxical character who has always existed and doesn’t exist yet. She exists before the hound monk and after etc etc. This will also handly make her available to use with other doctors if shes constantly meddling herself in and out of existence, continuity doesn’t matter. Very excited to see where they take this chaarcter |

Personally, I’m more intrigued that they’re doing a story with one of the Borgias then the return of the Nun. Didn’t think we’d ever get a story featuring them at all.

Wow the cover art is a real downgrade from Vol 1&2
Not to mention the price is a joke charging customers the price that would have been for 4 stories
Plus if I had to have a multi monk story I would have gone with Garden (the last good monk actor)

I thought the whole point of Dalek Universe is that there was never a Time War and the Doctor is the only one who remembers there was, making GW a successor of GG but not RH. The Doctor distinctly ended up "before" the Time War in a cosmic sense in Dalek Universe - unlike in the Time Lord Victorious stories where his actions had (briefly) negated it. Although I could be proven wrong by later installments, that's what we've been led to believe so far! |
