Oh! Hmm.
I've tried a couple of the Early Adventures in the past and really disliked the format so I don't follow the range. But this...I love Carole Ann Ford, and I love this story premise. I may have to make an exception here....

When was this recorded? It's disheartening to see the notorious racist Sean Biggerstaff still getting employment from BF.

When was this recorded? It's disheartening to see the notorious racist Sean Biggerstaff still getting employment from BF. I'm pretty sure that this was recorded a while ago, as Sean Biggerstaff on Twitter himself said that there was a long lead time. And I would imagine after how nasty Sean Biggerstaff has been to Tracy Ann Oberman over the past year at least, Big Finish might be reluctant to have him around outside of what had already been recorded.

Should be a very interesting story if it explores the post Dalek Invasion Earth of the future as the title suggests. We got a little bit of it in An Earthly Child but I’m all for seeing it expanded upon.

A Dalek getting soaked with rain, plus the stunning colourisation of Susan and David Campbell. Gives the premise a depressing atmosphere, with a taste of nostalgia.

I've pre-ordered this anyway, but if I'm honest, I'm not blown away by that cover. It all looks a bit too photo-shopped to me. Maybe it's because other recent BF covers have been so good. Hey ho!

The covers never bother me too much, but my pre-order is also in as After The Daleks does sound interesting. I hope it captures that 1960's vibe.

I am kinda curious about this. Most post-travels content for Susan just writes David into an early grave and jumps ahead decades, but this seemingly being set actually quite close to Dalek Invasion is intriguing.

I'm looking forward to this one. We see Susan later on in the EDAs. She's a leader on Earth, important to how humans move forward and relate to other species. Let's see how she gets there.

I just realized that Biggerstaff looks like Dominic Keating on that cover.

Sounds like a proper thriller. Except with Daleks.

I was actually a bit indifferent to this release based on the premise, trailer and cover, but the Vortex article has intrigued me. I’d never really thought about the limited technology on 22nd Century Earth in that story compared to other stories set in that period; The Rebel Flesh, Listen, etc. The idea that the Daleks just outright banned or destroyed it is great.
