With the career Sir Jacobi has had, it’s almost guaranteed that this will be a fascinating release.
Now how about getting David Warner in for a bit of a chat? 🙂

You know, it's funny... For an actor, for a man, who is more interested in letting the work speak for itself, rather than his own person, he may have just delivered two of the most interesting minutes I've ever heard in an interview. Seriously. Soft-spoken, humble, but from the sounds of things, someone who's led quite an interesting lifetime. I always picture him as one of the ageless actors. If you asked me when he started, I wouldn't have the faintest idea. He's felt like one of those faces who are just always there. Reliably so.

Indeed, he’s always had a certain amount of dignity and perspective about him I think. As well a sense of humour as well. Not too many actors who would be more than happy to lampoon possibly their most famous role in what is essentially a cameo in a children’s film. I also like the fact you can clearly tell from this extract the rapport he has with Scott Hancock as well.

I'm looking at his filmography and taking in the sheer scope of what he's done since 1961. I Claudius, Day of the Jackal, A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong, The Borgias, Gladiator... It's just amazing. Ditto. In fact... I was just preordering it for that reason when I got the reply. The casualness and ease of the rapport makes for a nice listen.
