It doesn't actually bill it as 'Vol 1' (which they seem to be replacing with sub headings) but I wonder whether it will be part of a series. Who knows, by the time the cover art is revealed it may have acquired a suffix heading: The Year of Martha Jones - January....Yeah, it's just listed as "1. The Year of Martha Jones", which seems to imply that there'll be more, otherwise I feel like they wouldn't have included the "1", as they didn't with Peladon, which is a one-off set.

Ah this is finally official. This is a potentially really interesting time for Martha, so there’s undoubtedly potential here. Curious about Francine’s involvement as she spent the year imprisoned on the Valiant. Perhaps there are scenes that cut to Francines POV on the valiant with either her other daughter or husband or another character going to be interesting how they are going to get around not using The 10th Doctor, The Master and Captain Jack
Thats doable as Flashbacks as Martha Tells stories. CJ Spends a year getting tortured off screen and The Master could also be ofscreen putting down a resistance launched by TW in Siberia and someone like "Izzy from Hollyoaks" as his representative for the boxset. Regards mark687

It's that long since I have watched these so I had forgotten that Cap'n Jack featured or what Martha's mother was doing in it, so at least I am getting some reminders here. I know that Mickey went into the parallel world to be with his Gran, but recall that he was seen paired up with Martha during the 10th Doctors 'lap of honour'. Was he involved in the story in some regard? My main memory of the tale is of the business between the Saxon Master & The Doctor:

No, what? No, you don't think an episode has been held back for a vol 2?

You know, if this range takes off I could see it as a means of tying a few elements Big Finish have introduced together.
Martha Jones could meet DI Menzies and see how the alien community of Greater Manchester are reacting to the news. Many of whom are no doubt trying to get off world. Hell, the Brigadier is probably still alive at this point. How would he react knowing that the Master has finally won and seized control of the planet?

The CD preorder price has been corrected from £24.99 to £19.99. It would be nice if all preorderers were refunded automatically, but I don’t trust that to happen, so have emailed sales for myself.

She'd have to meet River first, then maybe Churchill, the Eighth Doctor (they'll do a mind wipe sort of thing) a different Master, plus I suppose the Dalek Time Controller will have to get a look in at some stage too... but yeah, meeting D.I. Menzies could be quite interesting!

The last stand of Lethbridge-Stewart, aka “Why Tokyo No Longer Exists”. Love that idea. The Master bellowing at him through the Toclafane or loudspeakers to kneel before him. And naturally, the Brigadier refuses. Standing defiant to the very end as the place burns around him and he becomes consumed by the flames. But not before giving Martha a chance to make her escape with her promising to come back for him. But they both know he’s not going to survive this.

I am very excited for this. Martha is my favourite RTD companion and more with her is always welcome.

So macho” ”All you can do is kill me, and you don’t have thr courage to do that. Not face to face.”

And so it finally materialises after all this time but with a twist - a missing episode! The hour at the library To be precise. So what has happened? Wasn't it 'at the hospital'? Sad to lose a story, anyway... You know, if this range takes off I could see it as a means of tying a few elements Big Finish have introduced together. I'd love to see them integrate BF original elements with the New Series. And this would be an amazing place to do it cause you can put them through the ringer

I suspect the “missing” story will find its way into a second set alongside another two stories. I’d imagine the intention was for it to be a one-off, but the scope has been widened as they’re unable to complete one story and don’t want to be sat on it without any firm dates in sight.
Effectively it’ll be a range of 2x3 stories, like The Last Centurion. I’d imagine Martha will have a more anthology approach, though, which is what I think TLC should’ve gone for, particularly as it leaned on the comedy (if you could call it that!).

No 'Nick Briggs as The Daleks?' Say it ain't so! I mean that lightly of course, but I'll be a lot more likely to get this if there are no Skarosians present; I like Martha and think there's a lot of potential here, as others have said. "We have foreseen a time, where Nick Briggs will have a credit, on every single Big Finish cover"
