Not A crossover setting that readily springs to mind but always OK with more Dan Starkey.

“To celebrate Torchwood's 15th anniversary we've done what everyone expected..."
Would it be ungenerous of me to suggest that that sentence ended with "...once J*** B******** become permanently unavailable" in his mind?

Wonder if this has been rebranded as a 15th anniversary release to replace you know who in you know what?

Big Finish Torchwood does have a flair for the weird, but I doubt this is what anyone expected when they teased something for 15th anniversary. Which they acknowledge, so expectations subverted successfully I guess.
The ‘funny Sontaran’ routine has been worn thin for me by Strax, so I hope they do remember these things are supposed to be actually intimidating warriors rather than ‘lol silly Sontaran gets genders the wrong way round’.
I am surprised that James Goss is still on a roll with these releases. He’s a decent writer and clearly good to work with, but is anyone else allowed a go at writing Torchwood these days?

Wonder if this has been rebranded as a 15th anniversary release to replace you know who in you know what? The release-that-shall-not-be-named was to mark 50 releases in the monthly range. When it was announced iirc they indicated something else would be for the 15th, which makes sense given the you-know-what was slated for release some months prior to the anniversary.

So this is Lee Binding's final cover art for a BF Torchwood story. I've loved his work, and I don't think any other BF artists can match his distinct style, but what a way to go out! Here's hoping Simon Holub takes over from here, given he's the only other artist to work on the Torchwood range, and he does such great covers usually.
EDIT: Having said the above, I've just remembered that the artwork for Curios was in fact done by Tom Webster, so maybe he'll take over the Torchwood role.

I must admit the thought of a Sontaran’s bra flying into the face of Ianto does fill me with some terror...

Hah. Ah, that’s brilliant. Looks like tremendous fun and as mentioned before, it’s not something I think we expected at all.

Are they looking after it for Mrs Slocombe? We can but only hope. In any case, from the look of the cat’s face on the cover I think it rather have just stayed at home.
