Serial surgery!
Who else liked the pun in the title? Ahahahaha... Doctor Who needs more puns!
Not a lot to say here, this one was really fun. In general I think the Short Trips got off to a kinda shaky start, but improved steadily. Sophie Aldred, as per her typical behavior, absolutely kills it here. And that ending! Fantastic!
But on a more personal note, I was kind of looking for these Short Trips to distract me from IRL things, and, hrm... dunno if y'all have noticed that I've not been terribly active here lately, but there are reasons for that. And, well, I'll just say that I wasn't really looking for this story to remind me of the three(?) people I know who've been diagnosed with cancers recently. That conspicuous and uncomfortable question mark there is for my father, who should be getting the results from a biopsy in the next day or two.
But enough heavy stuff. What'd y'all think of this one? What is your stance on puns? Anyone else just adore that Doctor Who is a franchise that can make symathetic/heroic (near-)serial killers?
