I only started to listen to Benny a little while ago (currently halfway through series 4) and it'll be quite a while before I'll be fully caught up with the series. So I wanted to ask, whether The Big Bang Generation is very spoilery for the Big Finish audios (I'm assuming TBBG is set after all her Big Finish adventures) I don't really want to know everything that is going to happen to Benny in the audios beforehand.
Also, as far as I can see, The Big Bang Generation is part of a 12th Doctor trilogy - do I need to hear/read the other two novels in order to fully understand this? And on a sort of related note: why is TBBG available on audible, but Royal Blood, the first part of the story arc, isn't?

As I recall, Gary Russell said on the old forum that his book wasn't as closely tied into the other two (apparently you had to read "Royal Blood" before the other one); and that on the podcast they said it was set between the two Benny/7th Doctor box sets. If that's any help.

I've read royal blood, and am 3/4 way through Big Bang generation and as far as I can tell there is no link between the two books (ie you can read BBG without having read Royal blood).

I'm glad to hear that, as I bought Big Bang Generation but not the others.

How were the other two books in the trilogy? I'm considering getting them, not sure it's worth my while, though.

Many other reviewers appear to agree that Deep Time was good and Royal Blood was just okay. I ended up ordering both books anyway, sine they're pretty cheap.

That's the correct order.
My copy of Royal Blood arrived on Thursday. I haven't received Deep Time yet, apparently there was a delay in my order. I ordered Big Bang Generation a long time ago, when it first came out.
