I wonder what deal BF have with BBC so they can broadcast some of their stories. The Prisoner wasn't even a BBC show like Doctor Who.
It seems like since the 8th Doctor series that was commissioned by/broadcast on BBC radio soon after release, Big Finish have been including the potential for broadcast in their contracts and rights negotiations where they can. It may have made the Prisoner more expensive for Big Finish to license, but also made it more valuable to them.
