Some people like Polls so on the Release Threads I create I try to include them, equally I know some people don't so it basically its the Thread Creator's choice to add them or not. Regards mark687

The Rotting Deep by Jacqueline Rayner
The Plot was under developed even for a Two Parter with so much padding that could be used for a sofa
The Supporting Cast ranged from Tolerable to Nails on Chalkboards (special mention to the character of Skye who almost made me want to switch off the audio)
The New Companion Hebe....that is a real mixed bag she has some nice moments where she is likable but then the other half she is utterly insufferable when she does lectures to some of the characters like okay we get it but there is no need to be a see you next Tuesday about it. i feel bad for Ruth Madeley in this story there is a likability from the actress but the character i just hope The Second and Third Story are better otherwise woah boy
So if i had to rank this story a 2 out of 10
The Ending however was really nice with the nice call back to a certain companion who is beloved and missed

My God the BF You Tube trailer with that annoying jingle for a song irritated the hell out of me.
Hope no singing in these stories or be going way of the pirates - recycling bin.

So... get this... Dan Povenmire, one of the two co-creators of Phineas and Ferb just posted a video on his YouTube channel (probably his TikTok too) called "Josh Wrote A Doctor Who Story!!!!" in which he explains that his friend, a writer for Phineas and Ferb and several other notable ventures, has written a Doctor Who full cast audio drama called "The Tides Of The Moon" that's available for purchase from Big Finish Productions. He also says that Josh became friends with the producer of the set based on their Vanessa Doofenshmirtz profile picture. What in the unexpected crossover, seven degrees of separation insanity is going on XD

I thought The Rotting Deep was a fantastic story, that while a little long in the tooth at times, really gave Hebe a chance to shine.
The plot isn’t incredibly complex, but I totally understand why Rayner chose to do that, as she said in the BTS track. It gave us time to really connect with Hebe, who is the sardonic and sarcastic wit that balances out the team of 6 and Mel. And the way that Hebe connects to The Sixth Doctor through a past companion is incredibly special and made me grin from ear to ear. I don’t know how or if, but it sounds like this new era could be a nice way to wrap up one we never got to.
I did enjoy the cast of guest characters, though Rove McManus stands out, with a well-done turn into a more sinister presence in the second half.
Like I said, the script could have been trimmed, but that is something I think most scripts should do in general. Really excited as I start The Tides of the Moon now!

The last few minutes of The Rotting Deep had me tear up a little when the connection to the past companion was revealed. Actually, that whole conversation between Sixie and Hebe was really, really well done. Definitely my favorite part of the entire story.
Otherwise, I enjoyed the rest of the story. I firmly believe Jac Rayner is the best writer for the Sixth Doctor. You can feel her love for the character just really pour through in her scripts and when you combine that with Colin, who has never once put in a dud performance in his entire life, you get pure gold. I agree that the script could have been shortened, but I like the direction this seems to be going in.

Yes, the last 10 minutes were near perfect in my eyes, and I do hope that we can have a bit more exploration of the connection, though not a lot.

The Rotting Deep
Tight and to the point nice side-step into paranoia.
Now Hebe as a Chair User myself I think she's fairly accurate and generally likable, I think there would be times where she would ask for and take assistance more graciously, I think her and Doctor's last solo conversation is really well written and pitched though. Onward new TARDIS Team onward.

The Tides of the Moon
Another solid story depicting our Pre-historic celestial neighbors being renascence level society wise. Interesting at the start hearing Mel and Hebe's inital approaches to interaction with the inhabitants and environment.
