I take it in terms of the Fourth Doctor’s timeline this’ll take place sometime after The Deadly Assassin?

I take it in terms of the Fourth Doctor’s timeline this’ll take place sometime after The Deadly Assassin? Yes, it’s between The Deadly Assassin and The Face of Evil. Margaret will meet the Doctor again later when he’s travelling with Leela and will become a full time companion then.

Interesting that they've called this "Solo" not "Solo 1", given that in 11.2 he'll also be flying solo!

Interesting that they've called this "Solo" not "Solo 1", given that in 11.2 he'll also be flying solo! Perhaps the naming of this Solo is a bit of a misdirection to get us thinking that it refers to the Doctor being without a companion when in fact it refers to something different. Going to The Recusary perhaps he will encounter an Archivist. We know that The Nine will appear somewhere, must probably in the second part of this series 11, so as a nice balance how about The One in this first set. I have often wondered how and when they will introduce The One and I have even thought about what his name could be… Solone That containing… Solo, Lone and One I like a bit of idle speculation.

Looking forward to this. I’ve been wanting more solo Tom, so this looks to scratch that itch. I wish one of them was an anthology to get more out of it, but both stories do sound great.

Cover and confirmation of JD...
ETA: Still, really excited about Blood of the Time Lords, sounds really interesting.

Well BF've have highlighted the individual's involvement as much as they presumably legally have to (quite generous IMO)

I'm glad to see his name on the cover. The way Big Finish treated him was appalling.

I wonder if this will follow on directly from The Deadly Assassin, considering the image they used for the Doctor on the cover.

The way Big Finish treated him was appalling.
Right, *checks notes* not hiring him back (because he's chosen to be a PR nightmare) after all previous contracts were fulfilled is utterly appalling behaviour. Meanwhile, his treatment of trans people and Big Finish customers concerned by his views is, in fact, absolutely commendable. Thanks for your clarification.

What exactly has he done to trans people? I expect I will be asked to "do my own research" as is often the custom in these matters.

He referred to trans women as "men in dresses", then loudly doubled down when given the opportunity to withdraw his comments
