A second full-cast audiobook of Thunderbirds from Anderson Entertainment has become available today. The CD format is offered from AE and most likely soon from Big Finish on download. Following the pattern of the last 3 digital AE releases on the Big Finish website its pre-order price will be £17 and then go up to £20. There is also a hardback version of Peril in Peru that can be purchased from AE. This story was originally published under the name of Calling Thunderbirds in 1966. It wouldn't surprise me that Nicholas Briggs might have had some influence in the renaming. 'Peril in Peru' is a catchier title. And: 'It's Thunderbirds Day!' - on the Gerry Anderson Store website. There is an audiobook called Thunderbirds: Four Hours to Eternity that is narrated by Nicholas Briggs that can be downloaded for free. I'm not sure if its free-ness is a limited time offer. It could also end up on the Big Finish site as an item that requires money to acquire it.

Fingers crossed the download pops up on Big Finish’s website. I did enjoy the first one.
Got that freebie downloaded. So much classic Thunderbirds content lately, plus the 2015 reboot seems to be living on ITV Player. Who knows maybe I’ll even feel charitable enough to give the film another go…

Downloaded that free FAB audiobook, currently waiting for Peril in Peru to be available digitally (via Big Finish). Overall, I'm very pleased with these John Theydon novels getting new titles, since the old ones very much state the obvious. And by the way, in addition to hardbacks, did you guys know that there are plans to also release them as Kindle ebooks?

From memory, this is the novella analogue of a story like The Perils of Penelope or The Cham-Cham with a temporarily larger focus on International Rescue's London agent and her chauffeur. So, it's Penny and Parker plumbing the problematic perpetrators behind the Peril in Peru. One of my favourite moments was their efforts to try and stop Scott in the first novel, so I'm looking forward to more from our intrepid heroes. The whole team, actually. It's been marvellous. Incidentally, I tip my hat to cover artist Marcus Stamps for what might be the best cover from him yet.

The decision to release the e-books globally via Amazon is probably very wise, and of course allowing for some time for the printed books to sell before being digitally available. I'm not a fan of Thunderbirds or Terrahawks that has previously viewed them on television. So, informed education about the Thunderbirds from yourself, Sherlock, Tim, Wolfie, et al. is always appreciated. I am a fan of experiencing different varieties of enjoyable audio drama and both of those Jamie Anderson productions have certainly fit that bill. The cover of Peril in Peru as mentioned by Wolfie is worthy of praise. I find its background colours to be appealing to the eye.

Why do they keep announcing Anderson releases so close to release date? Not a problem, just a bit weird compared to everything else Big Finish releases.
An easy pre-order for me.

Honestly this announcement doesn’t surprise me at all. When they announced they had the Thunderbirds license, I know it was going to be a success.

I enjoyed that a lot. Its just very well produced and told.
Story-wise, it’s similar to Terror in it being an extended pursuit with subplots popping up along the way. I did appreciate the early scenes where IR finally figure out the Hood has been the same guy continually bothering them and his connection to Kyrano’s “dizzy spells”. Continuity is rare for Thunderbirds so it’s nice to get a sense this is building on what has come before.
