I know I was wrong every time but I wish we could see a glimpse of the rutans v sontarans war on TV this time. Based on title alone, that's what I would expect of this episode but the synopsis does not seem about that at all

I don't know about the actual episode, as it hasn't aired yet ... but the Sontaran on horseback looks really cool...

Big step up from HA. Roundly pleasing hour of TV, and if anyone was let down by Strategem/Poison Sky as the big Sontaran return, this story may well be the answer to your prayers.

Oh dear, after such a promising episode one……. This descends into so of the worst plotting and dialogue, is this stuff really written by the same guy who kept us guessing for weeks with Broadchurch!
Not really impressed, did make me laugh but not at the intentional jokes, how the hell did Burt Reynolds move hundreds of barrels and lay a mile of fuse powder without the doctor noticing it, or the sontarons missing worse than the dopest of stormtroopers……
Not doctor who’s finest hour……

Well, that was mostly pretty good. Like muckypup, I'm not quite sure how they actually defeated the Sontarans, and I do wish they'd put some history into these historicals, but overall a cut above the normal Chibnall fare. Am I alone, though, in thinking that Dan! Dan! Dan! is a bit of a parody of Donna?

Really enjoyed this one, more so than The Halloween Apocalypse. I thought that the Sontarans were played really well, the dialogue was actually not that bad this time, which is always a positive from a Chibnall script, and I'm really intrigued by what's going on with the planet Time. I also thought that the opening shot of this episode was one of the best we've seen in recent years - the Doctor looking up at the house was awesome and I'm really excited to see where that goes.

I dont overthink stuff...because the show has jumped the shark a few times in its history -did it entertain?Did it hold my attention did i actually think Yaz is under threat -yes...even though we know she survives...was it great visually-it was...did it introduce some more mystery as to the temple and its guardians and is it going down the sapphire and STEEL route of Time being the actually threat and malign force-i think it wil and are our two now three New Romantics seriously threatening -they sure are.
