One of my favourite renditions of the story.I am a complete fan of the BBC audio dramatisation with Clive Morrison as Holmes and Michael Williams as Watson but slowly and surely the BF version has taken over as a more complete version.if i need a Holmes fix i slip the disc on and it carries me away.Briggs is an more than adequate Holmes (i have grown so used to his take on the character..and i dont knock him in this i have come to really enjoy his portrayal)but Richard Earls Watson really is amazingly good and it is his narration that really carries this tale but even the supporting cast add a distinctive feel to the whole affair.Considering it is so cheap on download it should be snapped up by BF fans as it really is BF at their best and is worth every penny of the 4,99 charged.Richard dinnick does an amazing job of adapting the tale and it just flows as a tale...a true classic. If you haven’t heard it go on give it a shot

I think I'd still go for the Merrison/Williams BBC Radio version as my favourite audio The Hound of the Baskervilles, but the Big Finish version isn't too far behind and definitely worthy of a 5/5 in the poll.

I listened to the Big Finish version recently and I really enjoyed it.
