Man, this is tough. Some really nutso time-bending, Jack Kirby-esque mythology with some pretty sweet moments between Dan and Diane... but it somehow feels like the story should be further along than it is. Chibs should be giving bigger crumbs than he is and it's leaving me unsure about how the rest is going to be handled.
Still, what a cliffhangar and next episode looks absolutely incredible.

OK, so a pattern is emerging. Odd-numbered episodes: incomphrensible, throw-everything-at-it. Even-numbered episodes: stories.
Also, who'd've expected to see Captain Jack again so soon?!
Also also, the flicking between 13 and Doc Martin struck me as highligthing Jodie's strenghths as the Doctor, and Jo's weakness. Is she the first Doctor who would just shrug things off as somebody else's problem in the way that the Fugitive Doctor did?

Yes for me this brought about probably what i felt it should have been in the past Jo story that this is Jodies Doctor..she really is giving it her all now

Not that I'm expecting anyone to know who she is, but it was a nice surprise to see Barbara Flynn in the episode. Tim

Okay that was a lot. I was entertained. That had a lot of faith in the audience to follow along.
Functionally this story served the same role as The Timeless Children as the Exposition Dump but was much more entertaining and, most crucially, had the Doctor in a much more proactive role. The Weeping Angel seemed quite thrown in, judging by the ending just to give us a segue into the next episode.
So if I understood that right-
-In the Dark Times, the Time Lords used the Temple of Atropos and the Mouri to control time. -At some point Swarm and Azure rampaged in the Temple and the Division Doctor & crew were sent to stop and imprison them, putting the Mouri back in place. -Mysterious Woman has now decided to destroy the universe and has unleashed the Flux to screw up space and Swarm and Azure to screw up time. The Doctor has now fixed time but it was broken long enough to unleash the flying blue things...which are bad.

It’s a bit like The Halloween Apocalypse in that it’s hard to have a firm opinion on the episode as it doesn’t feel like one whole. A lot going on and a lot to unpack, but equally a lot to like.
It does sort of feel as though we’ve not advanced as much as we should, but I think once we get towards the last episode then Once, Upon Time will actually reveal more than it initially seemed.

I enjoyed that
More good work from Jodie
Very good work from Mandip
So far the Angels have been at their best since Blink
Nice background on Vinder and Bel
Barbara Flyn has got to be another version of Tecteun
Minor point some of the Fugitive Team bit could've worked better maybe in EP 1?

I would say so. That’s where my mind went instantly as soon as she turned up.

Daleks! It had Daleks in it!!!
I haven't a clue about the rest of the episode though, it takes more than a few crumbs here and there to fill me up! The weeping angels next week looked really scary in the preview though!!!

Have to admit I cheered when the Fugitive Doctor turned up... Was hoping we hadn't seen the last of Jo Martin!
The episode itself I'm a bit mixed on... it was entertaining (like someone said above - it was the exposition episode of the series but done in far more interesting way than The Timeless Children) but at the same time, it was the first episode of Flux that Chibnall's weaknesses with writing really came through - I couldn't help but roll my eyes whenever 13 explained the same info over and over or when she was telling us what was happening.
Also, that older lady was definitely Tecteun, right?
I'm also quite intrigued as to Vinder's reaction to the TARDIS... I've been seeing some speculation on Twitter about it but I'm not sure whether it's actually hinting at something big or whether he's just heard talk of TARDISes...

Enjoyed this on the whole, not as good as War of the Sontarans, but still a good episode. The writing however was probably the weakest of Flux so far in terms of dialogue, but I really loved the concepts that the episode threw out there.
Nice to see some plot points are getting sort of resolved, and I'm still really intrigued to see where the story goes next.
So all in all, a solid episode, with some really good stuff and some less good.

I. Loved. Every. Minute.
Chris Chibnall...you have my respect and apologies. You can write the crap outta Doctor Who.

Oh, and 13 years on from Blink...The Angels have the phone box! That is the kinda fanservice I can handle.

Another great episode. Maybe not up to the high standards of the previous two bit still really good. A nice way of getting some exposition over to the audience. I really engaged with Bel & her situation & of course...JO MARTIN! So this was her final mission for the Division & it appears she was promised a way out after doing this? Obviously double-crossed by the Time Lords so she went on the run. Is Barbara Flynn Tecteun? Not sure seems too obvious, maybe she's Rassilon or Omega? Or are we going to have another Doctor in this story?
Oh & yes, Weeping Angels in the TARDIS!

I loved this episode. Flux just keeps getting better. Seeing more of Jo Martin's Doctor is always welcome and I loved how the episode used the timestream to develop the characters and expand on the Doctor's secret history. We've got some serious Lore here as well, with the planet Time being related (or coincidentally similar to) the Anchoring of the Thread, where the Time Lords ended the Dark Times by controlling history. And does anyone else think the Passengers may be linked to TARDISes? (Bigger on the inside, at least semi-sapient, seemingly able to travel through time and space?) I also loved Bel. Thaddea Graham had me immediately invested in the character and her situation. Bring on next week and the Weeping Angels!
