Just as enjoyable as the Romance of Crime although this one will also require a re-listen during my watching of Season 17 on Blu-Ray.

An excellent script with a brilliant villain performance by Terrance Hardiman. I honestly hope he comes back to do some more for Big Finish in the future.

I’ve put the wrong number in. It should be 4 not 3.

Man, what an utter shame about Roberts being, well, himself, because this was a pretty solid little story. A nice blend of Stones and City, like if Adams had commissioned Holmes during S17. Hardiman is a blast.

This was my first experience of Gareth Roberts, and his three stories for Big Finish's Fourth Doctor are all great fun. This remains my favourite.

I do wish these weren’t in any way associated with Roberts’, cuz if they weren’t, I’d buy them. But because of him, I simply just have no interest in buying or listening. No interest in listening to a story created by a bigot when there are so many equally if not better stories by people who aren’t garbage.

Just from the wiki it's not clear to me whether or not he had any personal involvement in these adaptations.

But for me personally, I just have no interests in listening to it or what else he has been involved in BF or TV. Just my personal preference, and totally understand most cases of separation of art from artist, he just isn’t one I can do that with.

Hardiman is a blast. I've just been reading up on Gareth Roberts' comments. Wow. Why would you write so often for something like Doctor Who, and then say 'if a Doctor Who fan died, even their mother wouldn't miss them (or words to that effect)?' Apart from being massively counter-productive, it's one heck of a thing to come out with - and it turns out that's just the tip of the iceberg. An utter shame for sure, because I have enjoyed his stories for Big Finish very much.
