So ....with the couple with a child on the way seem to be a huge part in this but somehow the child is going to be the thing...that probably spoils it It depends if you believe what you read on the internet...

I think my main gripe (which I'll be more detailed about in my full write-up) is Peggy. She does have a purpose, but she's the weakest character here and, nothing against the kid, but I don't see why Stone chose her over any other actress.
(And, I say this as someone on it, I wonder if the script had some implication she was on the spectrum, and then it got cut out in the edit).

This series 'hit the ground running' and has barely let the pace slip once. In fact, it keeps getting better - this Angels episode was genuinely 56 minutes spent on the edge of your seat.
I limit the amount of Doctor Who opinion stuff I look at on Facebook, YouTube etc., but it seems that even the usually negative commentators are saying how good 'Flux' is - and it *is*.
I don't think - four episodes in - that a series has been this consistent in its weird, tumbling, chaotic whirlwind of brilliance for a long, long time.
For a rambling post, I don't have much else to say. This is simply brilliant, truly scary stuff and I'm gutted we have only two weeks if it left (roll on the Blu-ray release).

Well.. Wife and I were glued to our seats. 4 episodes in a row..finally! There's so much going on I don't quite fully understand it but I am on the journey. So there's what.. 2 episodes left and that's it?
Angels were back to being formidable- This is an episode I won't let my boy watch for a few years.

Interesting observation, Doctor Who asked permission before entering Claire's mind.

No surprise there, It was even a bit borderline for me. But I am very sensitive.... definitely could not have watched it any later that this because then I would have been unable to sleep.

Wow, this was great. Very tense, very scary, very edge of the seat. No, this was not as good as Blink. But I think it was better than the other Angel episodes after Blink. Again, visually stunning. I am still absolutely in love with the lighting and colour mood code they are using. Works perfectly on me! Still, it was not perfect. I am still not sure about the Division stuff, and Vinder and his wife and their unborn child.... we will see how this turns out and what it all means. Very happy about Kate. Cannot wait for next week! Bring it on.

I liked the Weeping Angels bits, they were very good and this is probably the best that the Weeping Angels have ever been. I wasn't too keen on the diversions to Bel/Vinder who for me are weak characters, but they obviously play a big part in the Flux story or they wouldn't be there. If this had just been a Weeping Angels episode Village of the Angels would get an easy 4/5 from me, but the other stuff brings this down to a 3/5 rating from me. Above average, but not great. Flux is definitely well written in parts but it's still very messy.
(I am keeping all of the Flux episodes on my Sky+ planner so that I can rewatch them all together in one go. I might revisit my poll votes then.)
Well, I have to admit, the writing is not any messier this series than most of what Moffat did. And I am a glowing adoring fan of Moffat.
If you compare this to the storylines he put in place.... I am not seeing much of a difference. And that might actually be quite a big praise. But I am aware that we still need to see the whole picture and how everything comes together.

Well, that was a cracking good episode. I don’t know if it is better than Blink, not that it needs to be, but it certainly equals it. I rather like how Chibbers doesn’t try to rewrite any of the core Angels mythology as laid out by Moffat but instead takes the bits that worked and used that to his advantage. Depending on what happens in the next two episodes I can certainly imagine a Professor Jericho spin-off range in Big Finish’s future. Could develop into a quasi Quatermass kind of series. Anyway, the show is 4 out of 4 and here are hopes that CC sticks the landing on the final two.

Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. Just loved it. The more Flux goes on, the more I'm looking forward to re-watching it all as one story.
