Not so much adapt as re-adapt... I would dearly love a return to the world of Sapphire and Steel. An atmospheric re-imagining would go down a treat.

As long as it's a re-imagining based on the first two series, (with Susannah Harker & David Warner as Sapphire & Steel). There's some damn fine stories in those first two series; they were Brilliant audios. I'd leave the ideas from the third series in the dustbin where they belong though... (IMO of course!)

It's hard to say what else they should adapt because a lot of the big SF/Cult franchises I can think of besides Who and B7 are US-based, and IIRC wasn't that part of the trouble with their Stargate line? Both due to actor availability and the smaller audio market this side of the Atlantic? Thinking on my personal favorites....
Star Trek - If they got the license and did an original series with a British cast it might work, but lacking the franchise stars, I'm not so sure. Battlestar Galactica - The original series is out without heavy recasting, and the 2003 version is a closed circle. Twilight Zone - Anthology series, so outside of the name, there's no cast we need. Could work pretty well as single-discs. X-Files - Big American stars, plus Gillian Anderson says she's done, so nope. Firefly - American, very likely problems with getting the actors. Red Dwarf - The boys from the Dwarf seem pretty game for the franchise lately. Hmmm.... Babylon 5 - We've lost a ton of the main cast, and it's a finished story anyhow, so I say no. They could try to wrap up Crusade, maybe? Farscape - There's rumblings about a TV/film reunion, I don't know if that would help or hurt. But some of the actors have prior contact with BF at least.
I think what I'd like to see which would actually be realistic is new, novel-accurate Bond adaptations.

A revival of Spooks, featuring a new set of lead roles with Harry Pearce (Peter Firth) still working at Section D or now retired. Wouldn't mind having Kit Harington's character Will Holloway (from the film) making a guest appearance, now that Game of Thrones has ended.
But if they're unable to do a continuation, no matter what reason, I think it'd work if they produce some audios, individual releases or boxsets, taking place between various series that have wide gaps (e.g. Series 5 and 6). Or how about a prequel to Series 1, featuring Lucas North (Richard Armitage) in his early days at MI5?

Actually emailed Nick and Benji last month about this, but sadly wasn't read aloud in their Podcast. How about you, have you tried doing the same?

Spooks is an interesting suggestion.
I think that I have only ever watched the first series... not sure why I didn’t continue. My Sky box is currently downloading the first episode to give it another go from the very start (now I just have to find the time to watch it!)
I would guess that Big Finish would not want to do it at the moment because it would be too similar to Callen?

Something in the worlds of The Invisible Library series of books by Genevieve Cogman.
It is an on going book series which I am enjoying and patiently waiting for book number 6 - The Secret Chapter to be released later in the month.
I think it could work really well on audio, as the Librarians in it use The Language to manipulate the world around them. So they basically say what is about to happen e.g. “chandelier above, detach yourself from the ceiling and fall on the men standing in front of me.”
I wouldn’t suggest audio adaptations of the books, but stories set within the world, perhaps not even featuring the main heroine of the books Irene.
Something that could work without knowledge of the books and could be enjoyed on their own, but would add to the Invisible Library series.
It would be nice for Big Finish to do something in the fantasy realm and be involved in a current, on-going series.

It has drama, romance, action, humor, fantastic characters, traveling between different worlds... what more could you want?

Going off what fingersmash said in another thread, it could be good to see what Big Finish do with the rest of the Oz books. They’re all in the public domain I believe so it shouldn’t be so hard to obtain the rights and there are enough colourful characters that they can make full use of. Despite my chagrin surrounding their choice, I could see a British accent working for the likes of the Woggle-Bug for instance.

As you say what more could you want and I do think it would be a good fit with Big Finish. Do you think the audio adventures of Bradamant would work?

Do you think the audio adventures of Bradamant would work? Many of the characters would be interesting to dive into. You have a charming villain in Lord Silver, who I would love to see more of.
There is the intrigues of the dragons. And you could have supernatural detective stories with Vale.
But you are right, following one of the librarians would work best, maybe even prequels looking at Alberich.
I actually love these characters, so if anyone is ever going to do audios, I hope they keep Irene and Kai.

A continuation of stories set in “The Life on Mars” and “Ashes to Ashes” world, either covering what happened after Sam Tyler and/or Alex Drake decided to stay in Gene’s world or cover a new arrival in Gene’s world set in the ‘90s😀

Ive been thinking over the past day about how Big Finish could do a DC Comics-based range. GraphicAudio had the licence but hasn't put anything DC out for a few years.
Dirk Maggs did a brilliantly wonderful series for the BBC back in the `90s, and several fo those actors (Stuart Milligan/Superman, Lorelei King/Lois Lane, Kerry Shale/The Joker and I think Nightwing too) have worked numerous times for Big Finish and fairly recently too.
Unfortunately several of Maggs' cast members (Bob Sessions/Batman, Willian Hootikins/Lex Luthor, Michael Gough - reprising his role as Alfred ocne more from the Burton and Schumacher movies) are no longer with us. Big Finish record with people from LA 'down the wire' now, so maybe Kevin Conroy could come back as Batman with Clancy Brown as Lex?
Colin Baker as Alfred?
