Received this from the Gerry Anderson newsletter. You all know how much his shows mean to me - Ive posted plenty about them, and even had my 1992 Stingray out the other day when ordering the new Super Deluxe Bluray. I discovered his work in the early 90s revival with BBC2 showing Thunderbirds, Stingray and Captain Scarlet (my fave). I now own Fireball XL5, Supercar, Space 1999, UFO and MANY more.
So...thanks for your amazing work keeping your Dads amazing work alive, Jamie..and one last thing...

"Dear David,
Nine years ago today, my dad – the legendary Gerry Anderson – passed away. But his legacy remains very much alive and well thanks to you and to all Anderfans across the globe. By being a part of our continuing journey and supporting what we try to do every day, you have managed to keep the flame burning – brighter and brighter!
Whether you fell in love with Supermarionation in the 1960s, the live-action shows of the 1970s, the quirky puppetry and stop motion of the 1980s or any of Dad's final shows in the 1990s and 2000s, we all know and love the unique 'Anderson-ness' that each of them possesses.
His shows have made a huge impact on so many aspects of our lives – from inspiring other creators and filmmakers to motivating scientists – to turning his science fiction vision into science fact. Quite often, though, his work just provides that little bit of escapism and comfort we all need, especially during challenging times such as those experienced over the last couple of years.
So, today I'm asking you to help us celebrate his amazing life and enduring legacy.
I'd love it if you'd share your memories on social media by posting your favourite thing about the worlds of Gerry Anderson and what he and his work means to you, using the hashtag #CheersGerryAnderson .
Thank you for reading this, for supporting our efforts to celebrate and continue Dad's amazing legacy, and for being a part of the continuing Anderson adventure.
F.A.B. always and forever,
Jamie"
