I'm sure we had a thread for this before, but cannot find it, so I want to hear what kind of stories you would commission if you were in the position of Briggs and Haigh-Ellery. I'll start with one and probably come back with a couple more later.
Torchwood Imperial Future: Planet Death
As the lights go out and planets explode throughout the universe, Zachary Cross Flane and the Torchwood Archive must race against time to find out what, or who, is behind the deaths of planets themselves.
A four part boxset with the following episodes
1. Lights by Lou Morgan
2. Archival Messes by Una McCormack
3. Underneath the Surface by Tim Foley
4. The Cross We Bear by Lisa McMullin

Renegade Squad or Narvin's Five.
A boxset placed in The Timewar where Narvin leads a group of the most dangerous Gallifreyan renegades on a mission to kill The Dalek Emperor.
Its members are The (War) Doctor, The Twelve, The War Master, The Rani (or The Corsair if rights still is an issue) and The Monk.

This one definitely seems to be more likely to actually happen compared to some others. I even think Nicholas Briggs actually mentioned a while back they were working on such an idea.

"Christmas Eve, 2008. Life hasn't been treating Owen Harper well. That is, death hasn't. So when a visit to a Cardiff nightclub leads to an unexpected encounter with hedonistic astronaut Mark Jenson from the British Space Programme, he can at least suffer in good company.
But there are more surprises in store for Owen that night. An angel from the stars has arrived at Devigne's nightclub. An angel who promises to save the world.
Owen Harper isn't the only one suspicious of this supposed golden-skinned saviour. There's another doctor in town and he's going to need all the help he can get.
With a cocky, disillusioned astronaut on his left and a witty, sardonic doctor on his right, Owen may as well be standing in a hall of mirrors.
Where does the angel come from? And what does he want with Mark Jenson?
As the clock ticks towards Britain's latest space launch, this strange Converse-clad Doctor surmises it may well be its last. Unless they find help from another expert. One who's brushed shoulders with this angel before. It's time for Owen to meet Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart."

Would this be played straight, do you think, or more like The Magnificent Ferengi where everything that can go wrong, does.

Fifth Doctor audio.
Set during the older Nyssa arc.
Main cast:
Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor.
Sarah Sutton as Nyssa.
Janet Fielding as Tegan Jovanka.
Mark Strickson as Vislor Turlough.
Guest cast:
Sarah Smart, Robert Glenister, Callum Woodhouse, Jill Greenacre and Kate Higgins.
Possibly also featuring Jon Culshaw as the Brigadier, although he was already in Forty 2, so maybe we could instead have either William Russell/Jamie Glover as Ian Chesterton or Christopher Naylor as Dr. Harry Sullivan, since they were both considered for Mawdryn Undead.

Just watching Battlefield. Had we actually had a story yet that shows the Doctor as Merlin and doing all the things that the other characters mention? It obviously cannot be a story with the 7th Doctor, but anyone of the later ones.... actually, since the other characters mention several faces.... Therefore, my pitch would be a series / boxset, featuring several of the Doctors, fighting as Merlin by the side of Arthur and his knights.

A story like the movie Looper, where the Eighth Doctor battles against the War Doctor, showcasing just how different those incarnations were, each viewing the other as an antagonist in a cat and mouse style adventure.

I was just listening to Vampire of the Mind, and Alex McQueen speaks about that he would like to come back and play alongside his friend Katherine Tate and David Tennant. Now THAT would be awesome. Not only would I like to have some more stories with Alex McQueen, but having his master going up against Donna- perfection.

I still want a story where we get an explanation of why the Fourth Doctor started to wear question marks. There must have been a really big reason because his successors continued with the motif.
I have written before that I have my own pet theory that Romana was asking questions, but he told her to just do it…and “it” got her killed. The Romana we see in season 18 is actually the third Romana.
And if they can link in a resolution to the ending of The Well Mannered War all the better!

I do apologise if this idea has been touted before, but I was just watching Oxygen, and was thinking a 12th Doctor audio (Capaldi or not) set during the time he’s blind would be really interesting. You could work with a really interesting soundscape if presenting it from his perspective and would give other characters an excuse to describe visuals to him.

A pair of Torchwood box sets featuring Ian McNeice as Churchill. The first box occurring during WWII and the other set being a direct sequel picking up during his second time at Number 10 in the 50s.
