radiofreeskaro.com/2022/02/13/radio-free-skaro-837-the-mask-of-mandragora/(Interview starts about an hour in after plugging or rather trying to understand ForcesTV and why its Repeating Classic Who) I summarized the teases from this in the Obscure News Thread I'm not sure he sees any value in having Customers Pre Order long term/ ASAP very odd for a Marketing Strategist. Probably burned up all the pre-order goodwill on Jeykll and Hyde.

One thing Nick always used to bang the drum about was a plea for pre-orders! What has changed? Must have plenty of money in the coffers these days!

Not on the BBC, and the price of advertising on other channels is probably excessive

Seems a shame. They definately advertised the River Song book by ALex Kingston after one of the episodes of Doctor Who FLux.

The River book is directly published by BBC Books though.

Making it "a little more short term" for products to be released after being put up for pre-order availability is reasonable. Steve Berry jokingly homed in on that 4-5 years in advance is too long of a wait for a paying customer to endure. Opportunity to pre-order well in advance isn't likely to be completely abandoned at Big Finish. Just look at yesterday's announcement of the Dimension Cannon box set #3 - that's 19 months away from being released!

Investment in a product with a far down the road release date can be excused with a deep enough of an early bird discount. A give-and-take transaction.

Amazing that that had Hans Zimmer do the music for it.
