You know, that one time he did one backdoor pilot, one webcast short, half-a-dozen Special Release audios, over thirty Main Range audios, over fifty Eighth Doctor Adventures and a goodly amount of miscellanea that all total up to a rough hundred stories. That one.
Strange to think that Paul McGann's been doing Big Finish almost solidly since 2001. That's almost twenty years of the Eighth Doctor on audio. From Storm Warning to Stranded (at time of writing).
"Courage isn't a matter of not being frightened you know; It's being afraid and doing what you have to do anyway."
When curiosity and outright boredom on a Saturday morning while waiting for your appointment at the Barbers (my hair hadn't been as long as it was since the nineteen eighties..) leads you to wandering just how much time you've lost listening to Big Finish audios over a calendar month.
So..during June I listened to :
Adam Adamant Lives! - Volume 1, Companion Chronicles - The Specials (The Mists of Time / Freakshow), Counter Measures - Series 2, Dark Shadows - Carriage of the Damned, The Darkest Shadow, Panic, The Curse of Shurafa, In The Twinkling Of An Eye, Deliver Us From Evil, Tainted Love, And Red All Over, Dark Shadows - Bloodline eps.1 to 4, Doctor Who : The Early Adventures - The Age of Endurance, The Fifth Traveller, Doctor Who : The Fourth Doctor Adventures - Shadow of the Sun, The Eighth of March (Inside Every Warrior / Narcissus), The Paternoster Gang - Heritage 1, The Prisoner - Volume 3, Short Trips - Regeneration Impossible.
I just checked. Turns out I lost Forty Three and a half hours to Big Finish - 1 boxset shy of two full days..and I didn't even notice..😱
