With Big Finish embracing recasting companions of actors that have passed away in the tv series would Big Finish ever consider recasting Companions like Evelyn Smythe or Erimemn?

They've already recast several companions, most notably Susan.
As for audio-only companions... I mean, they could potentially recast them, but I kinda doubt they would. The reason to recast is because the companions have broad name-recognition, which isn't something you're going to get with the audio companions. Sadly I think it's safe to say that the hypothetical "average audience" will be more familiar with--and therefore, presumably, more interested in--seeing Mel as the 6th Doctor's companion rather than Evelyn, regardless of who's playing either role.
It's also always going to be easier to write a new companion, both in terms of actually writing them as well as in terms of the actor portraying them--they're freer to approach the role however they like. David Bradley and Tim Treloar and Jonathon Carley (and inevitably Michael Troughton) are all subject to greater scrutiny and have generated divisive reactions from fans from the comparisons to the actors they're imitating. The recast actors have less freedom to play the part and are subject to greater criticism. This is only worth it because those characters are deemed sufficiently marketable.
I think this is probably the new XDAs have (thus far) solely focused on TV companions, rather than bringing back favorites from the MR or introducing new ones. Personally I hope that changes, but I can see the reasoning behind it.

You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

I could be wrong, but I believe she retired from acting.
It's also a different cultural landscape and I would imagine the opportunity to recast Erimem would open up new possibilities in a positive way.

I think Erimem might be the only audio only companion I could possibly see getting a recast, but I doubt it’s going to ever be in the plans anyways. Erimem’s story is done and if you’re going to bring in a new actor, at that point you might as well just create an entirely new companion. I also imagine it’d be easier to sell a new companion anyways as opposed to a recast of a character general audiences probably won’t know.

Not that I’m convinced it’ll happen but I’d be okay with a recast Erimem.
A recast Evelyn though? I’m not so sure about that.

I wouldn’t want Erinem and Evelyn to be recast but I wouldn’t mind seeing an audio novel where they are featured.

They've already decided that recasting Doctor actors is acceptable, so I don't know why companions would be treated any differently.

I wouldn’t recast any but Erimem. Evelyn’s story is done and I feel like it’d be strange to recast the BF originals.
Erimem I feel could get a recast because the character is still going to this day in her book series. So it doesn’t feel beyond the realm of possibility that she’ll return to Big Finish at some stage.

i agree with earlier comment and think there is no real demand for audio companions to be recast and therefore dont think Big Finish would do it. They would just create new ones.

Recasting Evelyn still feels wrong to me. I wouldn't mind an Erimem recast since Caroline Morris has retired and there would be an opportunity to get an actor more in line with Erimem's background, but I can't see Big Finish bringing back Erimem right now. I love Erimem, but there's not a lot of demand and the necessary recast would make it a bit trickier than it's worth, probably. Anyone looking for more Erimem going forward is most likely going to have to rely on her spin-off books for that.
