Rather than simply post up about the aphasia news, which has explained his pivot to near exclusively B-Movies over the last decade, I thought it better to put up a thread where we discuss and celebrate his hefty filmography. What's some of your favourites: they don't necessarily have to be his 'best' films of course - anyone here want to stick up for Hudson Hawk? Or are you one of five people who saw/remembers Sunset?

It's been a long time since I've seen any Bruce Willis flicks, should be time to rectify that.
I do have a great fondness for The Fifth Element, there were some really good moments in that one.
But I have to admit, while all the Die Hards are a blur to me, Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson standing in a fountain trying to get the right amount of water for a bomb in Die Hard (Die hard 3 I think) really stands out in my memory.

I love Hudson hawk, sadly very misunderstood and had andi mcdowel in it the kiss of death for most movies……it sunk the directing career of the director after a promising start of heathers n meet the apple gates…
1-3 Die hard, 12 monkeys, 5th element, pulp fiction, death becomes her, sixth sense , Armageddon all live long in peoples memory his 90’s period great I think the rest will be forgotten.

Clearly his tour de force performance was as the voice of Spike the Dog in Rugrats Go Wild!
Nah, in actuality I always preferred Unbreakable to his other works.

More underrated ones might be his best on a performance level
Look Who's Talking and Disney's The Kid, Pulp Fiction (maybe could include Sin City's)
Personal Favourites
1st 3 Die Hards
The 2 RED'S
Armageddon

I did actually enjoy Hudson Hawk, i think if it had been say released in the 60's or 60's it might have been received better. Just has that style to it.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Die Hard.. Best Christmas movie. Alan Rickman is chasing him through corridors: it’s a Harry Potter film!
