The interviews in DWM are quite decent and the editor’s note does confirm next issue will have more previews, so the air date is definitely after the next DWM’s publication (13 October). Also- {Spoiler} The CyberMasters are back.

Also- {Spoiler} The CyberMasters are back. Well, the proper Centenary is the 18th - if it airs on a Sunday, it could be the 23rd...

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Honestly, the title is fine. It’s layered, it calls back to the past while giving us an idea of something new… look, it’s just a title. There’s a lot of usual suspects on social media getting angry at Chibnall because he’s come up with a title that they don’t like.
And how many stories had _____ Of The _______ as their titles? Seriously.

Great set of interviews in DWM, looking forward to the other half in the next issue. Nice to get confirmation that Ace & Tegan's appearance is more than a couple of extended cameos, which is what Sophie & Janet initially believed. Those new Cyber Master's look gorgeous too. I liked their design, along with the regular Cybermen design, but those spikes just felt like a last minute addition; like whacking barbed wire on them. In the redesign they're sculpted in, so look more natural and aesthetic driven. The title itself is fine, seems appropriate for both a celebration, regeneration and landmark incarnation, of which this episode is. It doesn't quite roll off the tongue said out loud, I think because Pow-er & Doc-tor are two syllables and are consonant emphasised words. Just doesn't feel natural to say. I wouldn't be surprised if the Centenary airs on the 18th, to be honest. It seems to be the biggest thing the BBC have got to celebrate. Everything else seems to be documentaries that would be on BBC Two, or themed episodes that will form parts of existing shows; Strictly, The Apprentice, etc. Just feels like it's the most substantial and standalone celebration they've got to play around with in the listings. Looks like The Master has TCE'd Yaz in one of the photos too!

Yay! We have a date! It seems it will be airing on 10/23. I was hoping for the week before, for personal reasons. But I'm just glad we have a date.

Where’s the date been confirmed? There’s no mention of it in DWM and nothing formally announced that I can see. Not even any provisional listings, as it seems a bit early for that.

Yeah, you're right. I saw that date on a post and went with it, but I haven't seen the confirmation of it either. I may have jumped the gun, being so focused on the date. Sorry.

Still, it's not a bad guess. I doubt it'd air before the 18th, so I could see that date as a candidate.

No worries, we’ve all done it! I was just wondering if I’d missed something is all. The latest DWM has the Doctor with regen energy coming from her eyes, which looks like it’s part of a promotional poster. I’m sure we’ll get that with the title, date, etc. soon.

My prediction - Yaz gets shrunk, the Master impersonates her for a time and “the Power of the Doctor” is her super-regeneration powers which she uses to rebuild the Fluxed universe, it ends with Tennant waking up.

The Cyberman photo is interesting. Looks set to be on a train, with a hole in the ceiling. Parallel to The Woman Who Fell to Earth?

I can see that actually. All this infinite regeneration energy and somehow The Doctor manages to use it to restore the universe to pre-Flux standards. But in doing so unleashes the enemies they'll meet in the 3 specials next year
