Threw in the towel on BF physical media years and years ago, don't much see the point these days. Neither my laptop nor my car have CD players, and I'm not about to go hunt down a Discman that hasn't been manufactured in 20 years and pray that the thing still works.
But my account is currently showing 1140 available downloads....which I suppose is a bit of an approximation. Some of that won't be Doctor Who, and then there are other things which I did buy on CD because that's the only format it was available on but which hasn't yet been made available digitally.

I have just under 800 digital downloads in my BF account, however I have more than that in physical cds in my BF collection (When I started out I was bulk buying from the Distinguished Competition as they were all automatically 10-40% off and still to this day have Free postage and handling, a massive incentive considering a good 30-40% of the total co$t now to us is the P&H multiple charges). I have 3 record players and 4 cd players, and 2 cassette recorders. My back shed is almost the size of a house so I converted 1/2 to my Batcave and the other 1/2 for "miscellaneous". No storage issues at all.

I’ve reduced mine considerably in the past few months. I realised that a lot of ranges just weren’t bringing me fond memories or any joy seeing them on the shelf, which is what a collection should do. I was getting more pleasure out of storing the download in the appropriate place on the hard drive! So I took a step back and assessed what I would and wouldn’t keep.
My ongoing ranges I collect physically are War Doctor, Tenth Doctor, UNIT, River Song and War Master. And there are other bits and bobs that are one-offs or not ongoing that I’ve kept too, such as the limited editions of some releases or things like I, Davros, Donna Noble: Kidnapped!, etc. There’s also a couple of ranges I’ve not decided what to do with yet.
The rest went on eBay starting at 99p and lasting for a week. No box set went for less than a tenner, quite a few went for around £15/£16 and some went to nearly their price on the Big Finish site for some reason! But ultimately they all went to the homes of fans who’d make more use of them than I would.
For the most part I’ll be download and curating the collection on my hard drive. My main Doctor Who passions will remain as physical copies.

At present I have 1200 downloads in my account, not all are DW, but the bulk of them certainly are.
I haven't done any ordering since late last year and have only had a few things added to the account this year due to pre-orders from the last few years. I honestly don't see myself ordering much in the near future as honestly nothing announced has grabbed my attention and a lot of what I have listened to in the past year and a half has not inspired me to want to listen to those few new items that do show up (looking at you Stranded and TLV).

Fairly big. But then that’s not really saying much considering I’ve essentially gone digital over the last few years. And I don’t know, maybe my sensibilities are finally evolving and becoming more modern but while packaging may look good on a shelf, there is something rather satisfying about being able to categorise it all in various folders and what not.

I closed the door on CDs a few years ago and have given away a lot of them. Not counting pre-orders my digital collection currently sits at 1,318. So yeah, I may have a problem.

I can summarize quite nicely (see picture below). I needed to buy the physical DVDs since hardly any classic episodes are available for streaming in Germany. Some of them are signed by Sylvester and Davison.
(I am still waiting for my opportunity to meet Colin in person!)
Besides that, I have two external hard drives (one of them is a spare in case of failure) full of downloads.
I also have painted quite a few of the figures

I still have 3TB free on my portable backup drive. I have a few drives including a large external desktop drive.

I have a 2tb that I use almost every day (where they were), and a 1tb as well. Last year I ran into some technical issues with the 2tb, which is where I had all of the Big Finish downloads saved, and because the other drive was smaller (and my internal is perpetually nearly full) I had to make a lot of decisions about what material from the 2tb I was able to save before reformatting it. Big Finish could be redownloaded, so it didn't make the cut and I just never got around to doing it again. Time to fix that!

I don't actually own *anything* physically. Digital all the way, here. Don't have the shelf space for much else (too many books... and starships). Unless these count, but they're pretty abstract. Will need to turn my PC on to see just how big my collection is... but the Big Finish app's footprint, which is almost entirely my audio backlog, weighs in at around 50GB. Shipping prices from the U.K. are just... exhorbitant. Would love to have a TARDIS-styled mini-bookcase one day. Have y'all seen those? They're so cool! EDIT: Also got all my stuff backed up on externals -- and recently made the switch to SSDs, so I've been looking to minimize where I can. It's amazing how much the BTS tracks add up to... I've been debating deleting them to free up space.

I've been debating deleting them to free up space. I purged the idents and behind the scenes and the vast majority of music suites recently during a clean up. It was a good 50GB reduced, which is about another 70 box sets of storage!

Granted it's taking twice as long because I'm downloading both the mp3 and audiobook versions, but still, jeez this takes forever.

Every time I've downloaded them (and Re downloaded and rererereredownloaded them) they wind up being corrupted.

I haven't been listening to them as I go through this, but in the past I haven't had any issues... Before I started using the app (and I think before there even was an app) I always did the mp3 downloads and threw them onto my phone, that was how I used to listen.

With the exception of a few limited edition box sets, just about everything I own is digital, unless it wasn't available as digital at the time I bought it.
Things that weren't digital when I bought them include Bernice Summerfield series 1-11, IIRC, the original Gallifrey series 1-4, some of the bonus releases, and a few others.
I store the mp3s on an external drive and listen to them mostly on my ancient iPod.

So I just checked my PC, and my total collection is 125GB. If my backlog is 40GB, that means I've only listened to about 68% of what I have.
