Good for them. Be interesting to see which title is the one that’s awarded this impressive accolade.

Is that what's known as a win/win/win/win/win/win scenario?!
I'd go for the Peladon story myself...

Well done to Big Finish. It’s a toss up between Girl, Deconstructed and The Truth of Peladon for me. Really too close to call it between those. The Lost Resort & The Annihilators were great too, the latter did a very good job at sustaining seven parts.

I am picking Annihilators.
It shows Nicks best work in years as a writer, he just nails the era but also expands it. It has a lovely way to do a crossover without it feeling like a gimmick and it shows BF can do epic-sized Classic Who stories as in 7 parters but not feel padded. Just when the story would be about to need some "oomph" - BOOM - Second Doc and Jamie. It is fantastically well paced and shows that recasts..with a writer I do not always enjoy...on a story that is 3 eps more than the MR where a lot of BF felt padded? It overcame ALL of those to the point they didn't even come across my mind while listening.
It is one of the best BF stories at using the classic..and finding a way to make it modern.
I would not be sad to see Macbeth or Peladon win tho - two other masterworks for me.
