Started listening to this tonight and I’m loving the characters, only on episode 2. Glad Marie Wallace gets a part even if she isn’t playing a tv role and knowing Amy is married makes me happy, but I’m feeling that doesn’t last.

So I'm in the middle of Episode 7 which means Carolyn is back! Which just makes me happy as Nancy Barrett is so much fun in the TV show as Carolyn and exactly what is needed to dial back the mob which has been building the past few episodes. It's odd with David Collins turning into a shut in, and Maggie being proposed for Sherriff. There's obviously a trio of other supernatural creatures in Collinsport: I don't think that the newly adult Tom is the werewolf who attacked Jessica Griffin as the timeline doesn't seem to match up. Something's definitely going on in the mine, because why would the Collins' have a mine? Also calling it, Kate's the witch, she's acting far to seductively (if that's the word I'm looking for) to be just a normal reporter.

And just finished Episode 10: calling it now Count Petofi is the culprit of this as there was mention of a hand at Collinwood. Also the blood defect with Maggie is probably because of episodes 210-300

Started listening to Bloodlust for the first time yesterday and am thoroughly enjoying it - so much so that I'm already up to episode 11!Being new to the Dark Shadows world, it took me a while to get to know who all the characters were, but I think it works quite well as an introduction to the series.
Being mainly a fan of Big Finish's spy dramas (The Avengers, The Prisoner and Callan), I've been looking to branch out into something new and happily Dark Shadows seems to fit the bill. The only problem is, with so much choice, which one to buy next!

And 38 fills in exactly what happened to Kate Ripperton that made her move to Collinsport. They're all here: www.bigfinish.com/ranges/released/dark-shadows---audiobooksWelcome to Collinsport. You'll never leave.

I think maggie’s blood is from the time barnabas fed on her in the tv show There was something about Dave Woodward spotting the same blood abnormalities in Willie and Maggie's blood in the early days of Barnabas.

“An unholy union” was how he described what the blood cells were doing with some foreign substance in Maggie’s and Willie’s blood.

I started listening to Bloodlust, as some of you know, when it was offered as the Listeners' selection last October, for 99p an episode. Good story, listened to it twice. Episode 13 comes with a "Making of" podcast, which was interesting listening. But please tell me they are joking when they said they picked the name Devereux because it was the most American sounding name they could think of. (They also mentioned getting it from Dynasty, which was most likely using that name cause it sounds exotic or something. At least, that's my guess.)

Currently relistening as a prelude to Bloodline. In some ways it's almost a Netflix revival to those of us that haven't seen much of the tv show and know very little of the original characters. But it's Matthew Waterhouse trying to play against type that's the strangest thing about it.
