This is good news.
I wonder if it is possible to buy individual releases as I have some of the originals on DL and just a few gaps I need to fill - I don't need to buy the whole lot and I don't want to pay twice for something I have already got

YESYESYESYESYES!!! AND, the news article even states the actual release date at the end - next Wednesday (July 27th)! As a CD-prefer, I still have zero complaints about these bundles being download-only. Getting them at all is more than I ever expected, so I'm thrilled with whatever format I can get them! The next week is going to be a torturously long wait

When did the DLs disappear from purchasers' accounts? I remember a bit of a fuss on the old forum at the time BF's license expired because the DLs disappeared but they were reinstated for people who had already bought them. When I check my Google Drive, which I set up in 2019, the Stargate downloads I own are there and I would have got them off the BF site at that time (2019)

Intriguing Statement at the bottom of the news!
Executive Producer Jason Haigh-Ellery said: “I am delighted to once again be working with MGM to bring our Stargate audio series back to Big Finish and I look forward to many more collaborations in the future!”

Oh that is just typical. I spent two years searching the online second hand market for the CDs, haggled like mad for the best prices I could get and did it even occur to me to hang on until the 25th anniversary on the remote off-chance that Jason might be able to renegotiate a new contract and I could have bought the whole lot as downloads for a fraction of the price I paid? Nooooo...🤦♂️
🤣🤣🤣
Joking aside..(or am I?) this is great news. And if the downloads lead to a renaissance for the range then count me in from Series 4 onwards. But until then, I'm going to go have a chat with the Ebay and Amazon sellers of Series 3 - part 2 and helpfully point out this announcement whilst praying that a box of Stargates CDs is found in the cupboard at the back of the Big Finish warehouse...

Oh cool! I never heard these when they were available before, and by the time I came around to considering checking them out, Big Finish lost the rights and delisted them. Looking forward to finally being able to listen to em!

I'm so happy with this announcement. My very first BF order was Dark Eyes and 2 of these on download. My next order was 2 more. And then I stopped in favor of more 8th Doctor, thinking I'd pick them up another time. Well, I guess now is that time.

As someone who is 100% always a cd purchaser 1st, the clause is if they are only ever and ever forever going to be digital then I can handle/stomach/live with purchasing digital, I then burn them onto a blank cd.

Regards mark687 Yes, and most of them were after the April 2012 website upgrade which is the cut-off when a lot of the order detail seems to have been lost. I actually had them in my account before they "disappeared" circa 2019. Getting order numbers will take a lot of scrolling

Regards mark687 When I look back, everything pre April 2012 shows as imported basic order with not much detail, if any at all. Everything post April 2012 seems to be there ok with all detail. Found all my stargtes there, post April 2012, so will email sales. I was wondering if anyone else had got old stargate purchases back yet, as I didn't want to be too impatient emailing sales right away I see a rebuild download option on the webiste. What does that do? Is it worth trying that?
