Best news I've heard all week it looked awful, hope The Flash movie cancelled next, How can you release a movie about a superhero when the main star is on the run for assaulting women & other crimes. Why is it best news? You don't have to watch it if it was released.

Conversely - he thinks reality TV is that long term fix. ALL the DC cinematic universe needs is a quiet reboot (you don’t even need to recast anyone except the Flash) and a five year plan… ohh and not to have all their fights happen either in dark rooms or at night. On TV things were getting stale, but take a look at what people are clamouring for and give it to them - a Gotham Series WITH THE BAT. Season 1 - the Bat versus the Mob. No metas yet, but introduce the likes of Crane, Friez, Quinzell and Isley pre-transformation. Scaffold in the possibility of things like woman becoming plants, men getting transformed into snowmen and infectious fear. The finale would be a showdown with the first meta. Season 2 - the mob pushes back with weaponising the metas, but still keeping things mostly human level (Riddler, Deathstroke, those sort of villains, hell, even throw in the Flash Rogues). Dick Grayson. Season 3 - it’s Gotham versus the Metas. Batman starts to go all Dark Knight Returns. Dick and Jason. Season 4 - someone calls Batman on his bullshit and he has an epphiany. Allusions to Joker throughout the season. Season 5 - Joker, the end of the Bat, the rise of Bruce Wayne. Damian Wayne. I'd love a dark gritty Batman series there's so many graphic novels to use per season which would work as a longer 10 episode format. Batman is my favourite character and while I enjoyed the recent The Batman there's so much lore that needs to be seen and a series done right would be amazing. I agree, but I’d also have the dark grittiness have a consequence and basically reach a point where either the Bat dies or Bruce does. And I’d LOVE to see the expected not happen and have Bruce rise from the ashes of the Bat. Throw in an actual marriage to the Cat, have him run the Robins a la Oracle and do a “you k ow the situation is bad… the Bat is here” scenario.

That's what kinda happens Arkham Knight game Bruce dies so he can become Batman full time and uses Scarecrows fear toxin to show a more demonic looking Batman.

movieweb.com/scoob-holiday-haunt-score-recorded/As if this story couldn't get any more bizarre....now it seems that the score for Scoob 2, which hadn't even started being recorded yet, is going forward anyway simply because the composer/musicians have already been paid.

Least it seems animators show more respect to peers than the company boss. Scoob 2's been kind of left behind because everyone focused on Batgirl, which is a shame as a lot of the animators have expressed upset and anger, as well as highlighting how much work they put in to meet the release date.

And in a bit of 'Six degrees', Scoob 2 was written by Paul Dini, as in Batman Animated Series Harley Quinn and Arkham's Paul Dini. Yes indeed.
Not a bad time to drop this in about how animation writers are treated in Hollywood, meaning what Dini also likely lost because of this.

Warner is really pushing the whole “No publicity is bad publicity” to an extreme.

Warner is really pushing the whole “No publicity is bad publicity” to an extreme. But remember, Batgirl was the one 'damaging the brand'. Ugh...

EM's PR are still pushing the "Its all misunderstanding and adjustment period to Their Coming Out" line though so the potential of a"You've withdrawn due to prejudice" message must still be seen as worse PR then "The too much money gone into this now" which is now firmly redundant.

I shall not be watching The Flash film especially if leaks about a certain superheroes fate is to be believed.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Totally. Mind you, when the “fan base” are only crowing “go woke go broke” and not discussing Miller’s actual criminal behaviour, you can see why they might think it’s a safer option to ditch the girl cooties.

Yeah saw this the other day, this was a really nasty thing for WB/DC to do. You've got a young actress who was about to have her big break, and WB decides at the last minute to snatch it away from her and tar her forever with "oh you were involved in that debacle, weren't you?" And she has every right to be furious with them and tell them to eff off forever. But as a young actress looking for her big break, she has absolutely zero power to do that if she wants to continue acting--and along comes WB with this s***-eating grin-type messaging that they hope to keep working with her, after they screwed her over? What exactly is 'powerless young actress' supposed to say to a giant corporation, who wields enormous power over her, when they come up with crap like this and put it out into the world? It's just so transparently a power flex which serves only to diminish her ability to say anything even more than the position that they themselves had already put her in. I don't know whether WB is so clueless that they can't see this or just deliberately going out of their way to screw her over, but either way, they're just a really disgusting company.
