I am thinking that I will spend less, due to mortgage costs, energy bills and food prices all rising. BF's upcoming price rise due in November is also making think I will spend less.
The only way to cut my BF spend but still get all the releases I want would be to go DL only, but that's a big step for me and not one I really want to take.
Of course, things can change for the better or the worse, so who knows really. But right now, I am tending towards spending less.

Yes
I’m preordering as much as I can now before November I’m up to date with The First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Eighth Doctor ranges (I’ve dropped The Sixth Doctor Range and I’m undecided about the Seventh Doctor range)
None of the 2023 releases announced so far have interested me Especially Fugitive Doctor and Call Me Master
However If they announce more Lucie, 4th Doctor adventures, Roberts and Jacobi Master sets then yeah I’ll buy them easily

I don't know. I'm thinking of a pre-order before November's price rises kick in but there are only so many 'definites' now and considerably fewer than before. I will always be a customer because certain performers will always pull me in regardless of the quality but the general quality will affect the rest of my purchasing of that there is no doubt. Maybe Rishi Sunak will provide Big Finish vouchers in exchange for fewer handouts!

Yes, definitely.
I have already cut back, mainly because most of the recent releases (apart from a few notable exceptions) were less than stellar, samey and just not that exciting. I just do not feel the need to pre-order a lot of stuff and just wait for reviews. It takes more than previously to make them entice me.
Plus, I have discovered a few German series which I now follow featuring my favorite German audio performers (among these, I like the new Moriarty series). The German stuff is brilliant, too, and the releases are cheaper since they are available on each and every streaming platform out there (and some even on cassette, CD and vinyl).
However, if any BF release comes again close to some of the brilliant experimental early Monthly Range releases, or the Benny/ Unbound Doctor stuff, they could again count me in. Just any weird cross-overs, same old meet-ups with Daleks, Ice-Warriors and Cybermen.... probably not what I will fork out money for if not very much recommended.
So I think BF really have to up their game. A story of River Song meeting the re-cast 2nd Doctor battling Daleks will seriously NOT even get a bored yawn from me anymore. And increasing prices certainly will not help, either.

Oh most definitely. Much like everything else certain allowances will have to be made.
It’s unfortunate but such is the world we live in.

Yeah, unfortunately so. I hope I'll at least be able to keep up with some of my favorite ranges, but things being how they are I suppose I'll have to go without in a lot of cases.

I have a good salary - local shops have been closing - so no shops in the area for (new) DVDs, CDs or videogames except for supermarkets, etc. Covid has made me nervous of getting on crowded trains so I have not been going further afield to shop. So I've built up a good amount in my bank account. so no.

Well sort of. I might be looking at renting in coming months so may have to slim down my spending accordingly. But also, there’s a degree of just Big Finish losing my interest somewhat.
Looking ahead to 2023’s announced releases, the only purchases I can guarantee I’ll do is the Rani spin-off and Torchwood monthlies. There’s a few maybes in the recently announced River Song set, 5DAs: Conflict of Interests, Classic Docs New Monsters 4 and I guess Fugitive Doctor and Call Me Master whenever they actually get dates. Plus I suppose the second War Room volume if the first is any good. But if Big Finish’s price increase seems too high then those maybes will just become “when on sale in five years time”.

With what I've got pre ordered it's not next year that the cost of living is going to hit, 2024 is likely to be the orders the price increase will effect for me. So it might effect my future purchases or it might not.

There hasn't been a RBA % increase in about 11 years, since June 1st we have had 3 mortgage increases, with 1-2 more to go over the next 6 months, all to try and prevent Australia going into a recession again- the last one was the very early 90's..
Having said that, I will always continue to buy physical product that will never change, I always check out every $ale that pops up, always behind the 8 ball so to speak Geographically $peaking . Plus my home state has the highest electricty rates in the world (last time I checked that stat was last year).
The only pre orders I have atm are the latest season of 9th Doctor and the Dorian Gray vinyl. Not for any reason, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Possibly.
Right now I’m trying to pre order as far ahead as I can, before the price increase, but if the new job I’m trying for works out that may change.
Worst case, I stop pre-ordering and start waiting for sales. I certainly have enough BF that not buying anything new will create a drought.
That being said, the rumored 3 Doctors lost story is the only one that would be a guaranteed pre order from me after November. As my first classic story, I have quite the soft spot for it.

Yes because of my own financial situation & the price increase from BF is coming at bad time sorry but it is wrong decision from them.

I will always be a customer because certain performers will always pull me in regardless of the quality but the general quality will affect the rest of my purchasing of that there is no doubt. I agree with this stance. There'll be certain ranges I'll always continue to get, as I love the characters and their actors, but the amount of "definite" purchases is getting less and less. I'm fortunate enough to be on a good salary, but at the end of the day, it still has to be worth it so the price increase coinciding with what I perceive to be a drop in quality will certainly influence my decisions and I don't think it will be favourable to Big Finish. There's always something else competing for your money and attention when you're a fan, Doctor Who more so than most others, let alone interests in other areas. I'll be putting in a substantial pre-order ahead of November for the releases I'm absolutely sure of, at least.

I can't possibly cut back more than I already have given I haven't made a single purchase this year. I have a few remaining pre-orders for this year and next, but to be honest I have zero intention to get any of the releases from this year or to order new ones going forward. Though, in all honest that has little to do with the current economy and everything to do with BF not having done anything to make new items enticing to me, and with the fact that very little of what I have heard over the past few years has been better that "meh".

Like some of you here, I've already started buying less and less box sets for a few months now. My financial situation has changed, I find a lot of recent outings have been really underwhelming, the change of format from slipcover box sets to box sets with a single cover are parts of the reasons why I have started cutting back already and listen to less audios than previous years. I'd say there are 3 or 4 ranges I'm still happy to keep preordering without a second thought - mainly the 9DAs and the Torchwood range and a few others - whereas I used to buy mostly everything every month one or two years ago. But the ongoing crisis probably won't be changing my current habits significantly.

As much as I'd love to buy some new stuff, I just can't justify it in spite of what sound like fantastic releases.

I'd already walked away from preorders after several instances of feeling like I'd been hit with a bait-and-switch -- an established, classic actors range title announced, then months later it being announced that a bunch of recast characters will be in it. But in response to the thread subject: yes, I'm pulling back on orders more generally too. There are plenty of Big Finish titles I want, but for me personally the current prices are already at the upper limit of what I consider reasonable for what you get. Between crazy inflation making life in general way more expensive, and now Big Finish wanting to make their products even more expensive, I'll be stepping back and keeping an eye out for sales rather than doing much in the way of shopping at regular prices.

It all comes down to value for money.
With the various changes they have made over the past few years, Big Finish have been trying to convert me to a download customer and to a degree they have succeeded.
Too many times rather than feeling pleasure when I have a CD set delivered from Big Finish I feel disappointment instead. And I am left thinking - I paid a lot of money and waited a long time to feel that disappointment. That doesn’t feel like value for money.
Now listening to audio on download opens up other places to get my audio fix and at a much reduced price. This morning I have purchased five audio adventures of Anton Lesser as the Roman sleuth Falco for £3. That is 25p per hour of full cast listening pleasure. I am currently listening on my work commute to Stephen Fry reading over 45 hours of stories by PG Woodhouse which was purchased for £3 (I won’t bother working out the hourly price for them) Clearly Big Finish cannot, and should not, compete with those prices.
They are a niche provider of audio, selling to a niche customer base who have demonstrated in the past that they are happy to spend money on a product that appeals. And what sets them apart from many other suppliers is the fact they still sell a physical product to the “collector”. But putting three discs in a pack that is clearly designed to hold four CDs will never feel like you are getting value for money.
