Was thinking about Charley Pollard 3, and got to wondering what else there was that we had been told was on the way, but shows no sign of appearing
I think Dalek Empire V was mentiond a few years back by Nick as having been give the green light, but no further word since then.
And going back even further, 6 or 7 years to when Joe did the podcast with Nick, there was talk that Rob Shearman was writing something for BF.
Is there anything else we have been told is on the way but has never materialised?

I assume a follow-up to Eighth Doctor: Time War 4 is on the cards given the cliffhanger, but we haven’t heard anything of this range since. Might be a case of getting the actors’ availability to line up.
I seem to recall there was a YouTube video a year or so ago which showed Dudman recording some Tenth Doctor Chronicles? If so they haven’t materialised yet.

If so they haven’t materialised yet. I wonder if they’ll even carry on from that cliffhanger directly, or have a time jump that is sort of in the world of the cliffhanger without giving massive details, allowing them to get out of it a bit quicker. It’s been two years next month since that set came out, even longer since it was recorded, and the whole run was a bit of a damp squib. Just seems like there’s not the momentum or the interest to pick it up, at least not for me. And we’ve now got a War Doctor series again. I’d be open for more Eight Time War sets, but a fresh start would be far more preferable for me. I’m pretty sure that Tenth Doctor Chronicles set was the first remote recording back in March 2020. I guess with the influx of David Tennant releases it’s been on the back burner. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s out late this year / early next between Tenth Doctor Classic Companions and any potential Tennant involvement in the 60th.

As the years march on, I grow increasingly worried about the state of the Dark Shadows range. Nick assured us that the range will continue in a recent Vortex. Don't panic! The perceived radio silence on Dark Shadows in the last couple of years has been frustrating for those of us who enjoy the audios, and that frustration leads to rampant speculation on our part. And its not as if we haven't been here before. I wrote the following on the forum almost four years ago when Big Finish finally announced a slew of Dark Shadows releases after another long period of silence.. "So that's a second Tony and Cassandra in a couple of months (!) , Bloodline in April (at last!), a third Tony and Cassandra just over a year from now (!!), a third thirteen part serial called Windcliff (!!!) in just over eighteen months time, "something they've wanted to do for a long time" (!!!!) at the two year mark and a FOURTH (!!!!!) thirteen part serial provisionally entitled Thirteen (!!!!!!) in April of 2021. (!!!!!!!) *head explodes* Truth be told I was considering dropping Dark Shadows not so long ago. With so little coverage by Big Finish and just one box set released this year I'd started to assume the range was coming to an end and that the mythical Bloodline story was never going to happen. Today's announcement has proved me wrong. And I'm rather ecstatic about that. 😊" We know that COVID upended everything. We get that the sad loss of some of the actors may well have forced a rethink of ideas, we certainly understand that the now aborted TV production didn't help matters and there have been enough loose hints made to suggest discussions with the producers are 'ongoing'. But is it really too much to ask for an update on the website? Doesn't have to be much - a single news article along the lines of "Boy, the last couple of years have been intense. We lost some good people in recent months, talks with the producers are ongoing, Joe and the gang are keeping Windcliff and Thirteen and the thing they wanted to do for a long time on a low heat with the occasional stir and basically KEEP THE FAITH!" Because absolutely no disrespect to you Kenny, reassurances given in response to a letter in the Vortex magazine which can be overlooked (and was until I read your post) really aren't where such announcements should be made.

This ^ 101%.. Just take the time to write a simple news paragraph, respect the range by putting it upfront and centre like all other news, we have been hanging for a couple years now.

Torchwood Absent Friends (Unable to Release due to BS Reasons) From what I have read reasons aren't BS and as you mention it is unable to release so not in development hell.

Torchwood Absent Friends (Unable to Release due to BS Reasons) From what I have read reasons aren't BS and as you mention it is unable to release so not in development hell. Yes they could easily release it in so many ways
A) They could release it imminently with no publicity or fan show
or
B) They Release the Audio with a New Cover without Jack and turn it into a companion chronicle like story by Removing Barrowman's Lines and having Ianto narrate Jack's lines

BF can't release it because the BBC have forbidden it. Releasing it "with no publicity" is still releasing it.

Yeah, I would assume that as Big Finish are licensed by the BBC the story will only see the light of day if/when the BBC deem John Barrowman is 'acceptable' to be associated with one of their brands again. Big Finish couldn't just secretly release it and hope nobody notices!

The BBC prohibition is currently letting BF off the hook. If it is ever lifted, BF will have to make a "damned if they do, damned if they don't" decision. Do we know for certain it is a BBC decree, has that been publicly stated on the record? Or is it just speculation?
