Ignoring the discussion of whether or not Eccelston is to return, I’m curious what everyone would want from a third series of the 9DAs?
For myself, I’d like a loose running arc, with individual stories still the bread and butter of the range, but done in a way that if you listen in order gives a bit more to it. I’d also like to see a few writers that haven’t written for 9 yet, including Helen Goldwyn, Una McCormack, AK Benedict and Guy Adams.
However, if it is a possibility, at least a set with 9 and Rose would not go amiss.

Some two or three part adventures would be lovely. Perhaps some temporary companions for loose series arcs, they have an overall quest arc over 12 episodes broken up by single part stories, a bit like the Key to Time, Dalek Universe or Doom Coalition. I'd like to see some Time War fallout, where the Doctor has to answer for the decisions he made, what are the consequences of a universe without Daleks or Timelords, much as if you remove an predator from the food chain, how does that change the ecosystem, does a new predator rise up from the ashes of the old.

I would like at least 1 story much like "Dalek" in his tv season, the total gamut of emotions (the fear, anger, rage etc he had in that was great).

Honestly a 9/Rose Boxset would be great sadly we wont get a 9/Rose and Captain Jack boxset
However if Eccleston doesn't want that how about a Dalek Universe Style 3 Part Trilogy series for 9

Guy Adams seems to have dropped off the BF radar in the last wee while, after having written so much over the last 5-6 years. I know there was a 4DA this year and another scheduled for next year, but 4DAs are written/recorded years in advance. he was script editor on the Lost Resort, but that was an old one that had been delayed. 4DAs aside, his last writing credit was Robots 4 but that was recorded before David Collings died so must have been written even earlier. I usually like his stuff, so I hope he is back writing soon. Has there been any recent activity I've forgotten? Back on thread, I like a good historical and some character work exploring his PTSD would be good.

I share sentiments with regards to your desires for a third series Masterdoctor. A loose story arc but with desperate stories.
Personally I’d be keen to see the Ninth Doctor meet Madame Vastra (maybe that could even be their first meeting?) or a story akin to a monologue where it’s just the Ninth Doctor, alone and facing some unseen threat. With the latter offering the possibility of touching on some of his trauma regarding the role he played in the Time War.

Dominators. Cosmic bullies versus the eternal iconoclast. Rocket Men. Slavers. Pirates. High adventure!!

For some reason, I also want an adventure with Iris Wildthyme and Panda. You can get past the whole idea of the Time Lords being supposedly extinct, considering it’s never been confirmed one way or another.
That or an adventure with the Scorchies. With the Doctor playing the straight man to their silliness.

It doesn't seem like Eccleston would ever want to do it, but I'd love an immediate post-regeneration story. Like... how did the Doctor react, in the immediate aftermath of murdering everyone, while simultaneously coming to grips with and discovering his new regeneration?
I'm enjoying the 9DAs so far (though I am a bit behind still) but they're very much stuck with the Doctor in the same position he was in Rose: very well-fortified behind a great deal of affected levity. And that kind of thing takes time to construct -- all the moreso given how unstable Time Lords tend to be immediately post-regeneration.
....
Beyond that... this may sound weird, but id really love to see the 9th Doctor face off against the original Master someday. By which I mean the Delgado Master, so yeah, ain't gonna happen, but that's what recasts are for, yeah? I think it'd be fun, if only because the 9th Doctor is the closest thing to the 3rd Doctor's polar opposite we have.
