All three stories sound interesting to me, and Frank Skinner is always a great pick. I will say that overall, I am disappointed that this second series for 9 has only had three new writers, but hopefully that is a bit better with the seemingly confirmed Series 3.
EDIT: Though with Guy Adams seeming to have returned to Big Finish, hopefully he and AK Benedict could write something for 9!

Ooh looks like very little continuity, so maybe a return to this range’s stronger ground. Happy days.

Regards mark687 Yeah, I think that they would bring a bit of a dark sci-fi twist on the series, which I think has been the "genre" the range has best excelled with(Fright Motif, Monsters in Metropolis, Fond Farewell, Auld Lang Syne)

I must say I do like the idea of the Ninth Doctor being involved in a more horror focused set.

"Googles Frank Skinner to find out what the fuzz is about". Hmm, okay. Still no idea.
Anyways, the story ideas sound nice.

I’d still like to see more writers pen stories for Nine, but if they can hit the highs of Respond to All Calls & Back to Earth then great.

I'm considering giving the next set a miss, although the range has mostly been solid and entertaining, the cost of living crisis is hitting my budget and I need to prioritise my budget towards my absolute favourites.
The War Master range, the 8DA (Inc Time War), the War Doctor Begins, the 4DA and perhaps longer running story arcs for other Doctors come before the 9DA for me.
I get bored of endless single story sets with no story arcs, there's no build up with these sets, it need not be much but I need something, the 8th Doctor has forward momentum (even after Night of the Doctor), as do the War Doctor and Master, shared characters and themes, I'd be happier if we got more 2 parters, the 1 part stories are fine but I prefer the added depth you get with longer stories.

Volume 4 of series 2. Have we gotten any confirmation of further box sets with CE yet? Part of me wonders if having done his three series he steps away. I hope not, because the sets have all been great fun, but there would be precedent for a Doctor handing over the TARDIS keys after the third series in the role.

Well, he's a big star in the UK. But even outside of not being Brits - you have seen and heard him, I imagine: he was a main guest star in the Capaldi era, Perkins the engineer in Mummy On The Orient Express (even gets asked to be a companion at the end), also had a pretty cool BF role in Ann Kelso's first story in the 4DAs. Also hosted the beautiful tribute documentary Terrance & Me on the Season 8 bluray where he explores the legacy of Uncle Terrance Dicks.

I just wiki'd him again- sorry, besides the 2 projects u kindly mentioned above I haven't heard of him. No dramas, most comedians are solid actors anyway as they are telling stories on stage.

Sorry everybody, do not know him.
But that is no shame, since most of you guys would not now any of our most famous German comedians and audio stars. One simply cannot know everyone and my sense of humor is.... pretty acquired anyways....

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Fair enough, that's the way it is, no one can know everything

He's also one of the stars of BF's Callan! And he hosts a fantastic podcast about poetry. Maybe one day, when I finally find my poetic soul.... Right now, I might be one of the most unpoetic people on this planet.
I get the feeling that you all really try to sell this artist to me, and somehow, it is quite a hard sell....
EDIT: I have this 9th Doctor release on pre-order anyways, so do not worry. So I get it even (despite ? ) the famous person that is quite un-famous outside the UK.... Reminds me of that lemonade they sell in NZ which goes by the slogan "World famous, in New Zealand, since...."
